Third Person POV

Newsies: We'll all be out there,
Carrying the banner man to man!

Race and Albert do a flip in unison.

We're always out there,
Soaking ever sucker that we can!

"That's violent." Davey mutters.

The boys laugh.

This was Davey, Les, and Eliza's first time listening to Carrying the Banner and their reprises, as they walked to Jacobi's.

Here's the headline:

Romeo and Mush pretend to be holding a paper, while Specs and Finch, along with others, hold their hands up as to show a headline.

Newsies on a mission,
Kill the competition!

Davey looks really scared at that.

Jack and Crutchie chuckle at that, sharing a look.

Sell the next edition!
We'll all be out there,
Carrying the banner!

The boys all did a Newsie jump, even Jack, who was a horrible dancer.

Davey leans over to Crutchie. "Should I be joining them? I don't know how to do that and I don't know the lyrics." He states.

Crutchie thought about telling him to do it, even if it would make Davey a bit embarrassed and anxious.

See us out there,
Carrying the banner!

Crutchie decided against it. "Nah. Just watch. They do this a lot." He responds. "Jack doesn't usually join though. He's not a wonderful dancer."

Davey nods.

Jack shoots Crutchie an offended look.

Crutchie shoots him a 'you know it' look.

Always out there,
Carrying the banner!
Ah, ah, ah, Go!

The boys flip into poses, except Jack, who just posed normally.

They stay like that for a few minutes, before they all burst out into laughter.

"Number two?" Elmer speaks up, looking around.

They boys all look between each other, before they all nod.

"There's another one?" Davey asks.

The boys laugh.

"There are three!" Buttons exclaims, doing a front walkover.

"The first one is a lot longer than these though, and usually the Nuns will interrupt." Henry explains, patting Davey on the shoulder.

Davey looks at him, trying to process this information.

The boys start singing again.

Newsies: Sun up to sundown,
Knowing where my customers will be!

Race, Albert, and Romeo dance in unison, doing different moves from Henry, Mike, and Ike, who were also dancing in unison.

Davey looked to be in awe of their dancing.

Eliza was pretty impressed as well.

Sun up to sundown,
Watching all the ladies watching me!

"Or men!" Lucky and Les shout in unison.

The boys, and Eliza, laugh at that.

Walked my shoes off,
Got the dough to show it!
Probably I'll blow it.
