Dancing with a stranger
Prom. Isn't it fun? A night to dance and have fun with friends. YN wasn't even supposed to go but her friends Connie and Julie dragged her to the party. YN didn't want to go because she and her boyfriend Luis broke up just 3 days before.
The 3 girls made their way into the prom and took a seat at a table. So far YN was having fun. As the three girls were talking a boy in YN's chemistry class who she didn't know that well asked her to dance.
"Hey YN d-do you maybe wanna dance...with me?"
"Yeah uh sure"
The two of them made their way to the dance floor. Dancing with a stranger by Sam Smith and Normani was playing.
YN kept her head down for most of the dance but when she put it up she saw her ex Luis and a cheerleader Mindy dancing together. Luis and YN made eye contact and that's when they knew that the dance didn't feel right.
They knew they should've been dancing with each other.
