I hope Benny isn't mad. I got my glove and quickly ran out of the house all the way to the sandlot. When I got to the sandlot all the boys were playing except for Benny,he was sitting in the dugout,so I walked over and sat next to him
"Hey buddy" I said nudging his shoulder which caused him to look over at me and giggle
"Hey slugger. Where have you been?" He asked
"Oh I overslept a little bit" I said blushing
"A little bit? More like 8 hours" he laughed
"Ok yeah more than a little. Hey why aren't you playing?"
"I don't like playing without you YN" he said as he grabbed my hands and looked into my eyes
"Benny is there something you wanna tell me?" I said smirking which made him giggle
"Well I uh I've been meaning to tell you for a while now that I..."
"You what?"
"YN I really really really like you" he confessed
"Y-you do" I asked and he nodded his head in response
"Well Benny I guess it's the right time to tell you that I like you a lot too" I smiled at him
"YN will you be my girlfriend?" He asked nervously
