The ducks had just won the Junior Goodwill Games against Iceland. Everyone was on some sort of high,but especially Luis Mendoza. He was finally able to stop and not crash into anything and to make things better he scored! And it was amazing.
The ducks got all of their stuff together and were getting ready to go to the airport,but before they could leave the arena Luis heard someone call out his name he turned to see Diego a boy who he had played street hockey with a few days prior. I guess you could say they took a liking to each other.
"Hey Diego!" Luis smiled
"Hey bab- uh I mean Luis" Diego stuttered which made Luis blush "I just wanted to say good job you played really well"
"Thanks,did you see me stop?!" Luis asked excitedly
"I did see! How'd you do it?" Diego found it adorable to see Luis so excited over something so small as stopping.
"I just used the brakes" Luis smirked and made Diego chuckle
"Luis! Let's go buddy!" They heard Adam call out so Luis knew it was time for him to go.
"Well goodbye Diego" Luis stated sadly
"Bye Luis"
"Thanks for everything I really needed the advice you gave me"
"No problem it was a pleasure"
"Don't forget me"
"Baby I don't think I could"
