After my shift I head to Carlos house cause last thing I need is to run into my parents .
I put my key through the hole and open the door
Carlos wasn't home yet I went through his medicine cabinet grabbing his pain meds
I opened the cap of the bottle grabbing a water from the fridge I put a bunch in my hand and then proceeded to put in my mouth washing it down with some water
My body was at ease I could feel the pain slipping away I didn't have the headspace to be disappointed in my self
8 1/2 months of being sober washed down with water i could feel myself getting weaker
"I'm sorry Carlos ." Is all I could say before I hit the floor
