There was a few more calls and my shift was over I changed into a hoodie and some jeans and headed over the Carlos dads place .
I knocked on the door
"Hello Mr. Reyes .. can I come in ."
He didn't say anything he just opened the door and let me in
"Carlos told you I'm assuming."
"He did . Look we got Mrs.Reyes stable and we stopped her stroke but we are only paramedics we can't reverse the effects of her stroke only doctors can and the damage of her stroke is why she bleed out in surgery... I'm sorry for you loss I really am ."
He comes over and hugs me
"I'm sorry for what I said .."
"It's fine but I just think you should know that Carlos is a great cop and person and boyfriend and I think that he would appreciate it if he had your support .."
"Yeah your right ..."
