At the bunker. Ava was making breakfast in the kitchen while

Ava: but Uncle Sam, you said as I quote "when you're finished your school work I will teach you everything you need to know about investigation" well, I done my school work, I handed in all my assignments, why won't you teach me!

Ava is being homeschooled by Sam now because Sam wanted to be sure she was doing her schooling. He figured he need to keep an eye on her to make sure she's not sneaking around. Sam doesn't play when it comes to school.

Sam: *looks up from laptop* Ava enough!

Ava: but Claire told me that Jody been teaching her, it's not fair!

Sam: Ava! Listen to me, I know I promised you if you did well in school I will teach you, but you also haven't done your chores or-

Ava: now you're just making excuses, you promise!

Sam: Ava I know I promised, but you're not ready yet

Ava stared him down before huffing and walking back over to the stove. Just then Dean stumbles in and grabs the handful of bacon in his mouth, grunting, with a big hickey on his neck.

Dean spits out his food.

Dean: what is this?

Ava: Dad gross, I just made that! That plate was for Uncle Sam, yours is over their

Dean: oh *hands the plate to Sam*

Sam: *disgusted and puts it aside* yeah.. thanks Dean

Ava: I'll make another plate Uncle Sam *grabs the plate*

Sam: thanks kiddo *noticed his neck* Is that a hickey?

Dean: *looks* And? It was valentine's day. I can't help it if I'm a hopeless romantic.

Sam: You got half of that right.

Dean: Just doing my civic duty. Helping all the single ladies. You know the best thing about February 14th. You don't have to be mr right. Just mr right now

Ava: *roll eyes* I do not need to hear about my dad s word life

Sam: I'm still scared to say it huh?

Ava: you guys scared me straight alright. I'm never talking to a boy again

Dean: *takes his plate and smiles* that's the idea. you made coffee?

Ava: yeah it's over there

Dean: I love it when you're home *kiss cheek*

Ava: just doing my daily chores, hoping it could get me closer to being a hunter?

Dean: she's still on that?

Sam: she's been bugging me about it all morning... handle it

Dean: Ava, I thought we agreed while you're staying here you wouldn't be looking to hunt

Ava: no, you and Uncle Sam agreed. I didn't agree to anything. Dad please let me do this, I know you don't want me to because you're worried about my safety. But shouldn't I know some stuff at least while I'm with you guys in case something does happen. I mean Uncle Bobby taught mom how to shoot a gun, why can't you guys teach me simple things like that?

Dean: if we teach you about hunting, you have to promise us you won't be looking for it

Ava: but-

Dean: I'm not finished, you also have to do everything we tell you to do, exactly everything, or Sam and I are pulling the plug

Ava: I promise *hugs him* thanks dad for letting me do this, even tho it kills you inside

Dean: I knew this would happen some day. After all you're a Winchester

Ava: *smiles* it's in my blood

Dean: *smiles and careless her cheek* haven't you smile like that in a while

Sam: *smiles at them* anyways I found us a case Dean. Stacy alt-man 19 year old babysitter from Hudson, Ohio, was murdered last night

Dean: Oh that blows. But if her name's not Amara, how is that us?

Sam: Because her heart was ripped out

Dean: On valentines day? What is that like an ironic werewolf? Alright we'll check it out. But first I need bacon.

Sam: No, first you need a shower.

Ava: *makes a face* yeah dad you reek

Dean: oh so you two got jokes

Dean sniffs his armpits and makes a face.

Dean: Well, you two are not wrong.

Ava: what do you want me to do Uncle Sam?

Sam: I want you to do research, we will call you when we need information about something

Ava: I can't tag along?

Dean/Sam: no

Dean: what did I just say?

Ava huffed and turned around to flip the waffles.
