Chapter 28: Cassie's Journal

Chapter 28:

(This is before season 6 after Sam went to hell..)

Ava was in the attic doing one of her chores.

Ava: eeww, its so nasty up here, why is mom making us clean the attic dad

Dean: *lift box* cause your mother wants us to spend more time with each other

Ava: but I hate cleaning, can't we just go to the movies

Dean: trust me kid I would love to take you to the movies but I don't want to hear the wrath of your mother

Ava: your right me either *looks in the box* are these my baby stuff

Dean: yup

Ava: Moo-Moo Milk! *hugs her black and white teddy bear

Dean: oh god, you would take that thing with you anywhere

Ava: because you gave it to me daddy, whenever I had it with me it remind of you when you were on the road

Dean: huh, what made you stop?

Ava: *shrugs* I don't remember *looks for something else* whats this I don't remember having this

Dean: oh, uh that's your mom's journal

Ava: mom had a journal? Why is it in my baby's box?

Dean: because she wrote some stuff before you were born and she doesn't want you reading it because it's personal

Ava: then why are you reading it

Dean: I'm not reading I'm skimming

Ava: *rolled eyes* sure dad

Dean: hey I'm just checking to see if she wrote anything about me

???: what are you two doing?

Ava and Dean looked up to see Cassie, and Dean quickly put her journal in her box.

Ava/Dean: nothing

Cassie: huh? When the two of you do that together it normally means you two are hiding something from me

Ava/Dean: we are not, stop copying me!

Cassie: hmm.. Dean, what did you just put in the box?

Dean: what box? *shoves the box behind him*

Cassie: that box *looks inside* hey my journal must have put it in this box by mistake from our last move. Did you two read it

Dean/Ava: no

Ava: why do you have a journal mom?

Cassie: Well, when I was pregnant with you. I will always take your anger out on your father

Ava: *looks at her father*

Dean: what! I didn't do anything. She would always blame things on me, like "why did you make me so fat!", "it's your fault that I'm pregnant!"

Ava: *laughs* this journal I have to read *starts to grab it*

Cassie: no

Ava: but mom

Cassie: Ava, I said no. It's personal and private and you wouldn't like it if I touched yours now would you

Ava: dad says I can't keep a personal journal

Cassie: and why not? Didn't your father keep one

Dean: yes which is why I don't want her to have one for that reason

Ava: he's afraid I might end up a hunter like grandpa if I have my own

Cassie: Dean, the reason your father kept one is because of what to your mother
