"Okay, when are they gonna make up?" I asked Hermione as we looked between Harry and Ron who were ignoring each other.

"I have no idea."

"Harry didn't put his name in. Why doesn't Ron believe him?"

"Again, no idea."

"You go talk to Ron, I'll talk to Harry. This is getting ridiculous. It's been over a week!"

"I know." She said and walked off to Ron. I walked over to Harry

"Hey." He said and put his arm over my shoulders

"Hey." I paused, "Harry, when are you and Ron going to make up?" Harry moved to stand in front of me

"As soon as he stops thinking that I put my name in that stupid cup." He said and ran his hands through his hair

"Listen," I held one of his hands, "I believe you, Hermione believes you, you need to talk to Ron and make him believe you." He looked away, "He'll come around, Harry, you just need to talk to him or wait it out. But you are both miserable and waiting it out will only make this worse. Please just talk? For Hermione and my sake?"

"I'm sorry but no." I took a deep breath

"Okay, fine. Just think about what's happening right now. Your forcing Hermione and me to choose sides and that's not fair." I started walking away

"Bell,"

"Yeah?"

"Thank you for believing me." I just nodded then walked away.

I met up with Hermione,

"What did Harry say?" She asked

"He said that he's not gonna talk to Ron."

"Ron said the same thing."

"Brilliant." I shook my head and looked at the floor

"They'll both come around eventually."

"I hope it's sooner rather than later."

"Me too."

"Okay so what do we do about this?"

"There's nothing we can do, Bell." She shook her head, "We just have to wait it out I guess."

"This is stupid. Harry didn't put his name in. It's as simple as that. I don't see the issue."

"I don't know." Hermione said

"You know something. I know that tone." I said, calling her out

"I know nothing." She put her hands up in surrender, still lying

"I won't force you to tell me but you know why Ron is angry, don't you?" I asked and she nodded, "And you can't tell me because Ron doesn't want Harry and I to know."

"More like he's embarrassed and doesn't want Harry to know."

"So why can't you tell me?"

"Because you'll tell Harry."

"No I wouldn't."

"He's your best friend. You would tell him. I'm sorry, I can't tell you."

"Since when do any of us keep things from each other." She didn't say anything, "You don't believe him do you?" She slowly shook her head, "Why do you think Harry entered his name?"

"There's no way anyone else could have or would have put his name in without him knowing, why would anyone do that when they could've entered their own name?. He had to have had someone put his name in for him because he's not old enough."
