"Wake up, love." his lips tickled my ear as he spoke. Instead of opening my eyes, I curled in closer to him and shook my head. I felt the rumble of his laugh, "You have to get up and back into your bed before people start waking up." He said softly
"They can wake up," I mumbled, "but I'm staying here."
"Come on, darling."
"No. You're too warm." I told him, "I'm not getting up."
"Fine." he shook his head in amusement and kissed the top of my head. We just laid there for a moment, then he began to hum, and I fell back asleep to the vibrations that ran through his chest as he held me close to him.
I finally stirred awake at the sound of people coming into the common room but kept my eyes closed. I opened them when a pillow was thrown at us. Fred woke up too. I looked over to where it came from and saw George and Lee laughing
"Very-" I yawned, "funny boys." I said sarcastically
"We should probably get up now." Fred said and sat up
"Yeah." I stretched out and stood up. Fred pulled me back down next to him and whispered in my ear,
"Remember, don't cover them." He said lowly, and I nodded and stood up to go get dressed.
When I got to my room and finally looked in a mirror, I realized just how many bruises he left; five. I'm not walking around with five hickeys, I need to cover up some of them. My shirt and sweater covered four of them but I still had one dark purple bruise that I should probably do something about but I didn't need to and frankly, I didn't want to, so I just went back down and saw Fred waiting for me
"Ready, love?" He asked
"Yup. I'm starving." I said and right on cue, Fred's stomach rumbled, "I suppose you are too?" I laughed
"Yeah." He laughed too and grabbed my hand. We walked to the great hall where we saw our friends sitting next to each other. I sat next to Hermione, across from George. Next to Hermione was Harry across from Ron. On my other side was Lee, and Fred sat down across from him. Hermione, observant as ever, put her fork down and shifted to face me,
"You have a little something on your neck." She said out in the open and Harry and Ron turned to look at me as well as a few surrounding students. Ron let out a quiet laugh, as he already knew about the marks. My cheeks got hot and I covered the hickey with my hand.
"I'm aware," I said through gritted teeth "and now everyone at this table is aware too."
"Oh, that's not the only one." Fred told her with a smirk. I glared at him and he winked at me. I rolled my eyes and put some food on my plate.
"You planning on covering that?" George asked with the same teasing smirk as Fred had
"Nope." I said with a smile and began eating. Hermione, Harry, Ron, and I started talking about our new schedules while Fred, George, and Lee began brainstorming ways to enter the tournament "Freddie,"
"Yeah, darling?" He looked over at me
"You're not actually going to enter, are you?" I asked him
"What do you mean? Yeah, we're going to try to enter, why?" He said nonchalantly
"If by chance you are able to enter, and somehow you get chosen, it's a dangerous competition. Fred, people have died."
"It will be fine." He dismisses my concerns, "Besides, the prize money would help out a lot." He said quieter
"I know, I know, but is it worth your life?" I asked him
"So you would be fine if we were chosen," George points between Lee and himself, "But not Fred?" He fakes offense
