"You ready, Cedric?" Jacob asked

"Yeah, one minute." Cedric said and turned back to me. He put his hands on either side of my face and brushed over my lower lip with his thumb, "Wish me luck, beautiful."

"Good luck." I smiled and he bent down and kissed me

"I'll be looking for you."

"I won't be hard to miss. I'm wearing yellow, my house color is red." I said and looked down at the jumper I was wearing

"Okay." Cedric smiled and kissed me again and we didn't break apart until...

"Diggory!" Noah yelled

"I have to go."

"Go." I said and shooed him away

"I love you." He yelled back to me

"Go." I said again, laughing

"Hufflepuff pride." Hermione said as I sat down next to her

"It's not like Gryffindor is even playing today." I said

"I know. I was just teasing you. It's cute."

Hufflepuff took a brutal defeat from Ravenclaw; 90-30, then Ravenclaw caught the snitch

"I almost had it. It was right there."

"Yeah, we know. You've said it multiple times since we have gone off the field."

"I'm sorry, I'm just aggravated." Cedric threw his jersey in his locker and sat down on the bench

"No, I get it, mate."

"You guys all played really well." I said, interrupting

"Diggory, tell your girlfriend to get out of the guys' locker room." Micheal McManus said

"It's actually not a guys' locker room. It's the team locker room. Anyone on the team can be here." I said

"Anyone on the team. Last time I checked you aren't on our team, Gryffindor."

"Alright, settle down, McManus. She's fine." Cedric said pulling the t-shirt over his head. He walked over and put his arm around me

"Having a girlfriend made you go soft, Diggory." Michael accused

"You seem to always bring her up in every conversation. It's like you're jealous maybe." Cedric said and I covered my laugh with a cough. Michael's cheeks turned pink.

"You've changed, is my point." He said and turned around to open his locker, "I don't see what's so special about her, anyway." The locker room when silent. Cedric tensed up, "Oh, maybe she's just a good fuck. That's why she's stuck around longer than the other girls," I put my arm out to the side blocking Cedric from going anywhere. Michael turned around, "Oi, mind if I try her out one time?" The smirk that followed was what really made Cedric crack. He pushed my arm down and stormed up to him. Before anyone could stop him, Cedric punched him in the face and he stumbled a few steps back. I jumped a little and Jacob went over to Cedric to make sure he wouldn't do it again and Noah came over and stood next to me

"That's my girlfriend, you asshole. Watch you're fucking mouth."

"Oh I'm so scared of you. You've gone soft remember?" Jacob took a step back and let Cedric punch him again making his nose bleed. He wiped the blood away with his hand

"Make another comment, I dare you." He said and Michael said nothing, "That's what I thought." Cedric walked back over to me and held my hand. He started to lead me out of the locker room

"Nice ass, Roberts." I let go of Cedric's hand and ran over to him and slapped him. Everyone let out a sound that was a cross between a gasp and a laugh

"Don't you dare talk to me that way. You're disgusting." I turned around and everyone stood there in shock as I walked back over to Cedric. We left the locker room

"That was hot."

"Was it? I was just standing up for myself."

"I know. I loved it." I looked up at him and he looked down at me out of the corner of his eye and smirked
