One Step Closer

Heart beats fast

I hung my head down. I was definitely blushing. He delicately lifted my chin up, and whispered in my ear,"Open your eyes may love!"

His velvety voice was soothing. It sent shivers down my spine. But it somehow calmed me down ad encouraged me to open my eyes. I was about to open my eyes and glance up at his face....

Tring tringg!Shit ! That crappy phone had to ring just when I was going to see my Prince Charming's face.
I checked my phone and found two missed calls from  Alice, my pixie best friend. I wasn't in a good mood so I decided not to call her back and glared at my clock, just a few minutes were left for the alarm to ring, so I got out of the bed.

I showered, cleaned my teeth and began to get ready for my first day at my new high school.
I checked out my closet which was stashed with all types of clothes by our hyperactive Alice and chose a black tank top and dark blue skinny jeans with a black leather jacket.

I rushed downstairs without actually tripping and grabbed a granola bar, meanwhile Tanya smeared all the makeup on her face. Finally as I nibbled off the last piece of my granola bar, Tanya entered the living room .

As she was coming down the stairs, she looked very confident and sure about herself.

Although we are twins, we are completely opposite to each other. Tanya is gifted with crystal blue eyes while I have chocolate brown eyes. She has blonde hair whereas I have brown hair. Both of us have a pale skin colour, but mine is a little paler than hers.

Tanya is very confident while I am a shy girl. When we used to attend middle school, Tanya belonged the the group of the most popular kids of the school.
She gossiped about boys and latest fashion, when I stayed quiet and read my favourite novel, 'The wuthering heights'.

Suddenly I got a sharp slap on my wrist. It was Tanya. She is always impatient with me. She says that I am a waste, a souvenir of some bad deed. Maybe she is right. I don't blame her.

We somewhat staggered out of the house, I climbed into my red Chevy truck, the best gift I have ever had. While my truck roared to life, Tanya drove off with her stunning red convertible, a gift from her ex-boyfriend .

I finally reached my new school. I parked my noisy truck at one corner of the parking lot and walked to my twin, who was chatting with two friendly looking girls.
One of them was a redhead. She introduced herself as Joan. The other shook hands and told her name as Rosalie.

After a few minutes of chatting, we headed towards the school office to ask for our class schedules and lockers. I and Tanya got just gym and calculus together.

I entered my first class biology ,along with Joan. We had dissection to practice. I somehow finished the dissection with Joan, who wasn't getting on well and felt noxious at the sight of the dissected amphibians.

After clearing Joan's problem, I hurried towards the gym as there was very little time left for the session to start. I changed into my gym suite and waved at Tanya who as usually ignored me as if I was invisible.

As I had nothing much to do, I chatted with Alice whom I finally met in the corridor.

The gym door opened and a boy entered in. Students stared at him in awe as he entered, he was the most handsome dude I had ever seen in my life, he had a flawless pale skin with bronze coloured hair perfectly ruffled on his head.
His eyes were a beautiful emerald green that you could gaze in them hours and on.

Suddenly Alice nudged me and I realised how foolishly I was staring at him. And then I understood the reason behind Alice's nudge. It was because the lad was staring back at me!!! I couldn't help but gaze back into his eyes. I felt my heart beats racing at its top speed that I could hardly breath.

So yeah! The first chapter is done...
