Luis's hands were gently placed on my stomach as I felt his comforting breath run down my neck. I traced my finger up and down his arm lightly as he pulled me closer.

"You should probably get to school," I whispered.

He only shuffled closer to me. "I just wanna stay like this."

I laughed lightly. "Come on, Louie."

He groaned lightly in annoyance. "It's Friday. We're not even doing anything."

"Don't you have a history test today?" I asked, knowing he would say yes.

He sighed softly in anger. "Yeah, but I can just take it on Monday."

"Luis, please?" I begged. "I don't want you failing school."

"I'm not gonna fail." He huffed.

"Luis." My voice was stern. "Go."

He groaned. "Fine. See you later."

I laughed lightly with a smirk on my face. "I love you."

He waved a hand at me while standing up. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, love you too."

He walked out of my room and I laughed at him again. He needs to sign up for acting, I swear.

I woke up to my phone ringing loudly in my ears. I gasped in fear and quickly picked up.

"Hey." I tried to make it sound like I had been awake.

"Hey, sweetie." Melanie's voice echoed from the other end.

"Oh, hey, what's up?" I asked.

"Are you available to watch Izzy? I have to go to work pretty late again." She asked.

I nodded even though she couldn't see it. "Yeah, of course."

"Okay, thank you so much." She sighed happily. "See you soon."

"Bye," I said as I hung up.

I quickly hopped out of bed and started getting myself ready.

I walked into Luis's house and Izzy immediately ran over to me.

"Amy!" She squealed happily while hugging my leg.

"Hi!" I chuckled.

Melanie grabbed her stuff and walked towards me.

"Thank you for watching her." She smiled.

"It's no problem." I smiled back at her.

"Okay, I'll hopefully be home by ten or so. Can you handle that?"

I nodded. "Yup."

"Alright, Izzy, be good, okay?" Melanie warned her.

Izzy smiled. "I will."

Melanie kissed her head and patted my shoulder. "See you guys soon."

"Bye, mommy!" Izzy waved to her.
