Jealous

I'm jealous

I'm jealous of those who's parents support them no matter what

I'm jealous of those who were already born in the right bodies and know who they are

of those with freckled cheeks
Covering their faces like lost stars

I'm jealous of those with glass souls and hearts of gold

I'm jealous of those with honey dripping from their voices
There hair surrounding their soft features like a curtain of velvet.

I want to be them

Those guys with hair made of ash
And skin made of silk

That make everyone drop at their knees.

I wish I could be them. I wish I could be more
But it hurts knowing it in my core
That I'll never be them.
