You and Mitsuki walk out of the Hokage's office, smiling and laughing together. You walk for a while before you are met by the sixth Hokage, Kakashi Hatake.
"Lord Sixth?" You ask
"You two must be the new Chunin, Kazuma and Mitsuki. I'm sure Naruto has informed you of our meeting?"
"I'm afraid he left out a few details." Mitsuki added
"Well, I'll be temporarily taking you in for training." Kakashi said
"Starting when?" You asked
"Right now" Kakashi said as he pulled the two of you along with him.
"Today we are going to learn my signature Purple Lightning Technique. It's going to be a long day"
(Time Skip)
You and Mitsuki drag your tired bodies across the road.
You meet up with your friends just in front of Thunder Burger.
Denki spots you you two from afar and makes to wave at you before stopping. He looks at the two of you contently laughing with each other and smiling and looks down.
You look up and spot your friends and wave," Hi Guys Sorry we're late! Training was tir-" Your vision blurs and your body gravitates towards the ground. However, Mitsuki catches you before you hit the ground. Your friends quickly rush over.
"Is he okay?" Boruto asked worried.
Mitsuki checked your pulse. "He's fine. He's probably overexerted himself. I'll take him home" Mitsuki added
"Let me help"Denki chimed in
"No need. Hopefully I won't be too long." Mitsuki said as he headed to your place. Denki's face sank. Boruto placed his hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry Denki. You know Kazuma better than all of us. He'll be back in no time." Boruto said, without knowing what the real issue was. Regardless, they all headed in to Thunder Burger
(Time Skip)
You wake up in your house and see Mitsuki leaning over your head. Your surprised at first but then relax when you notice who it is. You sit up from the bed and rub your head.
"What happened?" You asked
"You fainted just outside Thunder Burger. I carried you home" Mitsuki replied
"How long was I out for?" You asked
"Almost 4 hours. It's 10 pm right now" Mitsuki replied
"Why were you watching me sleep?" You added
"I was just curious at the different faces people make when they sleep. I find them quite humourous." Mitsuki replied.
You giggled and got out of bed.
"Thank you for taking care of me" you said as you guided Mitsuki to the door. "Let's do great on our first mission." You said, holding your fist out. Mitsuki bumped it with his fist "Yeah" he replied.
You opened the door and let Mitsuki out and to your surprise you see Denki sat against the wall
"Denki?!" You ask in surprise. However, you receive no response.
"It's freezing cold out here. He's probably knocked out" You thought to yourself as you carry him into your house
You wrap him in blankets and place a warm towel on his head. Two hours later, his eyes open and he sits up from bed.
"Where am I?" He asked, rubbing his eyes.
"At my place. I found you outside. What were you doing?" You asked
"I was waiting for you. We didn't get to spend time together today and I was worried for you" Denki replied
"We're just lucky Mitsuki acted fast" you added.
At the mention of Mitsuki's name, Denki's face dropped.
"Hey Kazuma?" Dennis called
"Yeah?" You say, turning to face him
Denki looked up with tears in his eyes," What does he have that I don't?" Denki asked
"Denki what's wrong?" You asked taking a seat next to him.
"Lately you and Mitsuki have been hanging out a lot and I don't want to sound like a bad person but I have been feeling jealous. Like you've neglected me..." Denki says
You place your hand on Denki's chin and look into his green eyes.
"Denki let me get this straight. I love you. You and you alone. Mitsuki's a nice person but he's doesn't make me as happy as you do. Your cute, you always make me smile and your caring. I couldn't have asked for a better boyfriend." You said.
Denki's eyes widened.
"You have not-hmm?" You were interrupted by Denki placing his lips on yours.You could tell with this kiss that Denki put all his passion into it and you enjoyed every second of it.
The two of you separate and look into each others eyes.
"Kazuma?" Denki called
"Yeah?" You replied
"Please never leave me" Denki said
"I won't. I love you too much to do that" You said with a smile. Denki giggled
"Well I should get going." Denki said
As he was getting up, you grabbed his arm and looked down
"Is there by any chance you could stay for the night?" You asked
"I'd love to" Denki said.
And so the two of you climbed into bed and held each other close. Your bonds became stronger than every before...
