"what are you doing here, dad?" 

he chuckled as he put the butter knife and fork down on his plate, "this is my house, what kind of a stupid question is that?" 

she also forcefully chuckled, "nah ah, after what you did, this is certainly not your house and you're not supposed to be here" she gritted her teeth in the end, 

"I paid for this house-" she cut him off in anger, 

"no, you did not!!!! mama did! she was the one who did everything!!! and she gave this property to vaishu and I before you killed her" she spat at him and he stood up in anger, 

"I DID NOT KILL HER, SHE SUICIDED!" 

"BECAUSE YOU MADE HER LIFE A LIVING HELL AFTER SHE BROUGHT ME HOME!!!" and by now, she was sobbing real bad. 

he sighed trying to calm himself down, "she was not supposed to bring home a kid from the streets! that's not how the wife of a business man acts! what she did was unacceptable!!!!!" he said as if he was trying to prove a very important point. 

"she brought home a kid who's organs were about to be sold in the black market. that kid was about to die AND THAT KID IS ME! I WAS GOING TO DIE!" she shouted in the end and he scoffed, 

"don't be absurd, nothing happened like that, it was just a rumor" and she chuckled in disbelief, 

"of course you don't believe me but I have something that will make you shit your pants" and she quickly took out her phone and opened a tab on google, slid it across the table towards him, "read it, it says 17 kids under the age of 16 were brutally raped including boys and were killed and only 3 managed to escape and I was one of them" and then her crying started to get worse at the sudden flashbacks and memories. 

he picked up the phone in disbelief and read the article. he was 'almost' shocked, key word is, 'almost'. he sighed as he put the phone back on the table, 

"she still had other options, she could've given you to the police or in the adoption center. I am sorry to say this but if she would've done that, then she would've been alive and healthy right now" 

her eyes widen and horror was clear on her face, "a-are y-you s-saying that she s-suicided because of m-me?" 

he sighed again, "yes" he simply replied and now, she didn't have anything left to say. she just went blank. she actually believed him. 

"avneet say something" Vaishnavi said to her and nudged her with her elbow but she didn't move. she was actually frozen. 

"avneet, come on, reply. you know that wasn't your fault" the queen put her hand on avneets shoulder but she still didn't reply nor moved. 

"she isn't going to say anything because she knows its the truth" akshit (Avneet's dad) slightly smirked in the end and it kind of pissed off someone, 

"shut the f*ck up, you assh*le" the king spoke up while gritting his teeth, shocking the shit out of everyone. he dangerously sighed as leaned on the table and put his hands on the table, "I am sure you know who I am, right? I am sure you know who every single person present in this room are. so, listen here you piece of shit, one call, and you'll be getting thrown from a mountain or will be getting burned alive in a pit of snakes. so, if you even dare to blame my daughter to hide your guilt in murdering your wife, I will f*cking kill. you. alive" he stopped for a second after every single word and this actually pulled avneet out of the shock and she smiled and lightly chuckled. 

"yea dad, you must know who these people are. these two are the people who doesn't have any blood relation with me just like you but you still heard them call me their daughter and like, they didn't even know me my entire life like you did but they are still standing here with me, supporting me and you weren't even there for vaishu and I when we got kidnapped!" she laughed in the end as she wiped her tears away. "but, you know what dad? I am so freaking glad that you weren't here to bail us out and now because of that, we got the king and queen of Greece who treat us as their own daughters, the first prince who treats me as his own sister and is vaishu's boyfriend, two gang leaders as our bestfriends and most importantly, a boyfriend who can make you shit your pants in seconds" and now she was the one who was smirking and Akshit was fuming in anger and watching that, her smirk grew wider "and most importantly, I stole your precious little daughter from you, who you used to try and turn her against me and you almost did until she realized how much of a disgusting person you are" she looked at Vaishnavi in the end who was laughing her ass off
