After speaking to Oliver, Aurora blanked out for most of the drive to the California Child Welfare Social Services building. Her chocolate brown eyes blinked when she hears her name, and she turns her gaze, seeing Mrs. Johnson kindly smiling at her.

" We are here," Mrs. Johnson informs Aurora.

Aurora looked out the door, and she sees a building with the California Child Welfare Social Services logo on it. She sadly sighed as she nods her head, and she steps out of the van.

' I cannot believe I am finally at California. And for once, it isn't to hang out at the Santa Monica Pier or go to Disneyland,' Aurora sarcastically tells herself as she silently follows the three Social Workers into the building.

Aurora warily looked at her surroundings, seeing many Social Workers in their cubicles, speaking to one another, or attending meetings. She even noticed some children getting picked up by their other parents or their parents' relatives or get taken to an orphanage via vans or buses.

Aurora stops walking as she accidentally bumps into Mr. Walker.

" Sorry," Aurora mumbled an apology as she steps back, and she blushes, looking and feeling embarrassed.

" Aurora. We got informed that your mother is in this room," Mrs. Johnson motioned to a closed door.

Aurora held her breath when she hears that her supposed mother, Helen Thermopolis, is behind the closed door.

" Are you ready to meet your mother?" Mrs. Johnson kindly asked Aurora.

' No!' Aurora mentally shouted, but she kept a neutral gaze as she watched Mrs. Johnson opened the door.

" Hello, Ms. Helen Thermopolis. My name is Katherine Johnson," Mrs. Johnson enters the room first as she kindly introduced herself to Helen.

Aurora stood there as her chocolate brown eyes intently stared at Helen Thermopolis, who softly spoke to Mrs. Johnson. The young teen began to study the person who is her birth mother. She sadly noticed that the two look similar to one another in looks such as the dark wavy brown, the chocolate brown eyes, and the heart-shaped face.

' I see I am her mini version,' Aurora sadly tells herself, wishing she had something of Phillipe in her.

" Mrs. Thermopolis. I would like for you to meet your eldest daughter, Aurora Celeste Renaldi-Thermopolis," Mrs. Johnson kindly introduced Aurora to Helen.

Aurora's chocolate brown eyes narrowed when she hears Mrs. Johnson introduced her as Renaldi-Thermopolis. She furiously enters the room, and she glares at the two older women.

" Call me by my real name, Aurora Renaldi," Aurora firmly tells Mrs. Johnson and Helen.

" Aurora Renaldi-Thermopolis is your legal name. It's in your birth certificate," Mrs. Johnson informs Aurora.

" Screw the birth certificate!" Aurora snapped at Mrs. Johnson.

" All my life, I have been known as Aurora Renaldi," Aurora firmly tells Mrs. Johnson.

" So, you-," Aurora intently stared at Mrs. Johnson.

" -And You," Aurora glanced at Helen.

" Are going to refer me as Aurora Renaldi, you hear me," Aurora sternly tells the two older women.

Helen stared at Aurora with a mixture of emotions.

' I see the girl has already master speaking like a royal,' Helen neutrally tells herself.

" Aurora. It would be best if you didn't speak that way to your mother," Mrs. Johnson sadly looks and tells Aurora.
