Toni goes on a trip

-Do you have everything ready?.- Cheryl asked rubbing her hands, a gesture that she always does when she is nervous and restless.

-Yes, Leslie is already waiting for me outside.-answered Toni. It was 3am and Toni had to catch her flight to Africa, specifically to Namibia, she was going to do her photographic report about an indigenous tribe for her new exhibition for five days but she was going to be a total of 7 days out since the trip lasted almost a whole day

Cheryl and Jason accompanied Toni through the long driveway of their house to Toni's partner's car, Jason put the suitcases in the trunk while Cheryl and Toni took advantage of their last moments

Cheryl hugged her tightly, she hates that her wife left her side, she did not like to leave her.-Be careful, call me as soon as you arrive and call me whenever you can.-Cheryl said, pulling away slightly, she knew that her wife was not going to be able to call her every day due to the time difference in addition to being in the middle of the desert but Toni was going to do everything possible to do it

-I will.-said Toni nodding, she also had a hard time leaving her wife at home apart from leaving her in charge of all her children. Cheryl kissed her tightly holding back the tears, it was always difficult for them to say goodbye, it was not the first time that her wife traveled through her exhibitions but it was the first time that she would do it without knowing about her, they pulled away a little even though the redhead did wanted

-Mama.-said Jason, Toni pulled away from her wife and hugged her son, Jason hugged his mother tightly, they would also have a hard time without her

-Take care of mommy and help her in everything, please.-Toni said in his ear hugging him just as hard

"I will." Jason said turning away from his mother.

Before Toni left Cheryl grabbed her arm, pulled her towards her and kissed her again several times trying to prolong the goodbye.-I love you.-Cheryl murmured on her lips trying to suppress the tears

-I love you babe. It will only be a week. -Toni said giving her a last kiss on the lips and so Cheryl saw her go, now the redhead let her tears fall down her face, Jason hugged her side while they watched the car disappear. Cheryl sighed and Jason hugged her tighter.

Toni was on her way to the airport with Leslie another photographer, they had been planning this trip for six months, she was excited but on the other hand she couldn't help thinking about her wife, she didn't like to leave her with all the burden of her children, the house and the law firm

"You have to promise me that you will help Mommy." Toni said looking at her children. "I'm going to be away for a few days, okay?" Toni remembered telling her children, she had made sure to leave everything ready and she knew that her older children would help their mother with everything.

Cheryl couldn't fall asleep since all she wanted was to hug her wife and the smell in her sheets and in Toni’s pajamas that she was wearing only made things worse, a few hours had passed and she already missed her, she didn’t know what she was going to do without her a whole week. When she seemed to fall asleep the alarm rang, she started with her new routine, she showered and got dressed, when she went downstairs to make breakfast Beatrice and Jason were already downstairs setting the table and preparing lunch for all her siblings.-Thank you, my loves.-said Cheryl giving each one a kiss on the cheek
