Maddie

Maddie was looking among the shelves in the living room for some photo albums for school.-Here they are.-she said taking a couple of albums in her arms, she carried them to the kitchen island, sat in her place and began to look at them

-What are you doing, sugar?.- Cheryl asked looking at her daughter, she loved cooking and seeing her children on the kitchen island while they did their homework or just talked to them about anything.

-I'm looking for a photo of me from when I was little.-she said flipping through the pages.- I need it for class.-she said looking at Cheryl with a smile on her lips

-I'm sure you have no problem finding one, you know how it is mama.-said Cheryl smiling gently at her daughter and Maddie widened her smile more

-Hey, I'm here.-said Toni looking at her daughter and her wife, she was cutting some vegetables that the redhead needed for lunch

-It's true, my love.-Cheryl said leaning closer to her, putting her hands on her shoulders, Toni turned her head slightly to look at her better.-You are always taking photos, no matter what we do.-she said placing a lock of hair in her ear and giving her a soft kiss on the lips

-It's my hobby and my job, babe.-Toni said in her defense.-Besides, I can't resist myself.-she said smiling, returning to her task of cutting vegetables

-Why am I with mama in all the photos?.- Maddie asked curiously raising her head to look at her mothers

-You had a little obsession with me.-said Toni simply

-A little obsession.-Cheryl said turning from the stove to look at her better.- You had a huge obsession with mama, you didn't leave her for a second.-Cheryl said looking at her daughter now and Maddie raised her eyebrows and a funny smile appeared on her lips.- When you and I were alone you were fine, as soon as Mama appeared I had lost my daughter.-Cheryl said seriously

Cheryl and Maddie were sitting on the sofa watching TV, the door was heard and Toni came into the house, Maddie pulled away from Cheryl and ran towards her. "Mama." Said the little redhead, throwing herself into her arms. Toni reached down and took her in her arms, hugged her tightly and Maddie grabbed her neck

-How is my baby?.- Toni asked smiling

-Good.-said Maddie happily

-I brought you a little surprise.-Toni said looking at her little daughter, Maddie opened her eyes wider, Toni took out a small red lollipop and Maddie smiled, she took it in her hand without releasing the other hand from her mother's neck, Toni approached the twins, gave them a kiss and took out a chocolate egg, Beatrice and Jason who were doing their homework as soon as they saw the gift were happy

-Thank you, mama.-they said hugging her and immediately opened the egg to eat it

Toni approached her wife and sat next to her with Maddie in her arms.-Hi, baby.-she said giving her a kiss on the lips

Cheryl looked at her with a smile on her lips.-You spoil them too much.-she said shaking her head as she looked at how happy her children were.

-Well... -Toni said taking out a red lollipop for her too and Cheryl smiled

"Wow." Maddie said today. She was completely immersed in the story her mothers told her

"That was how you were, sugar." Cheryl said, standing next to her. "Of course it wasn't all your fault." Mama, spoiled you too much.-Cheryl began to tell again

-Mommy, take me.-Maddie said from above the kitchen island, Cheryl took her in her arms and sat her back on the counter
