A cold

When one of their kids gets sick, the ones who have the worst time are Cheryl and Toni. They have a very bad time. They don't like to see them in pain, with fever and with a dull mood, but the consequences of spending so much time outside in the cold, playing in snow or shoveling snow had its consequences.

The one who first showed symptoms was the little Topaz, the day after the big snowfall she began to sneeze and since there was no school the following days they also went out to the snow and the second day at night...

Rose spent practically the whole night coughing, sneezing and complaining, Cheryl and Toni got up again and again to check on the little girl, to put the humidifier on so that she breathes well, to clean her snot and give her water to drink because her sore throat

-Mama.- Rose said with a congested voice from her room.- Mommy... my head hurts.- Rose said for the umpteenth time that night

Cheryl was in her room in less than ten seconds. "What's wrong, sweetheart?" She asked worriedly with a tired voice. She was exhausted from getting up again and again. She turned on the light and sat down next to Rose.

-My head hurts.- Rose said with a congested and tired voice.

-Let me see.- Cheryl said placing her hand on her forehead, noticing the heat in the palm of her hand.- You have a fever.- the redhead said quickly, Cheryl pulled her towards her, Rose immediately got a fever no matter what. she always had a fever just like Toni and Thomas

She took her in her arms and took her to the kitchen to give her medication, then she took her to their room

"How 's she?" Toni said, turning on her bedside lamp.

-She already has a fever.- Cheryl said putting her in bed with her

-Mama.- Rose said hugging her, Cheryl thought briefly that she should not hug Toni because she is very warm but she did not dare to say anything because Rose settled in her and fell asleep because that night she had hardly slept and after spending almost all night awake Cheryl and Toni fell asleep until the redhead's alarm clock rang, Cheryl gropedly turned it off she was exhausted

-TT.- Cheryl said moving her wife gently

-What?.- Toni said half asleep

-I have to work.- Cheryl said, passing a hand over her face, she was tired.- Our babies still don't have school.- Said the redhead since due to the heavy snowfall they still hadn't removed all the snow just like she couldn't go to work

-Okay, you can work in my studio, just take out my laptop.- Toni said yawning.- I'll take care of Rose.- she said smiling a little

-Thank you.- Cheryl said giving her a kiss on the lips, Toni settled next to her daughter and fell asleep while the exhausted redhead went down to work

When Toni's alarm clock rang and she got up she was tired, she had barely slept and Rose was still sleeping since she hadn't slept at all and thanks to the medication she had been able to fall asleep. Toni let her sleep a little longer since today she would not go to school, she went downstairs as usual to make breakfast and after a while her kids appeared, including Thomas.

"Hey, have you slept at all?" she asked softly, raising her head to look at them, she immediately found their faces full of weariness.

-Rose kept complaining.- Thomas said exhausted

-No, nothing.- Maddie said sitting on the kitchen island

"Every time she woke up I woke me up." Jason said, yawning as he walked around the kitchen island to give her a kiss on the cheek.
