Chapter 4

Y/n pov:

I got out of the car and I motioned for Anna to do the same. I hopped up onto the roof of my car and Anna and I just enjoyed each others company. I looked over at Anna and she was looking at me but then quickly looked up at the sky

"I saw that Boonana" I said with a chuckle as I layed my head on her shoulder

Anna ran her fingers through my hair and sighed contently

"We should do this more often"

"What? Sit on top of my car at-" I glanced down at my phone "-11:37 at night?"

"No like hang out on our own time instead of just hanging out when we're forced to"

"What like a date?" I teased her

She got really nervous all of the sudden

"No just like hanging out platonically" 

"Chill out Shumate, I was just kidding"

At first she seemed relieved but then I could tell she was a little dissapointed

why would she be dissa-... there's no way... I don't even know how i fell for her, how did she fall for me...

"It's getting kinda late, we should probably get you home"

"I don't wanna go home though"

"Why?"

"My parents are on a couples trip, Tommy's at college and Brandon's at our grandparents for the night so the house is kinda lonely"

"Do you wanna go back to my house?"

"If you wouldn't mind"

"Not at all my family loves you"

"SLEEPOVER" she yelled into the empty parking lot

"Shhh I can't invite the whole city" I said while laughing

"Oh, sorry" she replied, laughing with me

I drove back to my house and I let my mom know that Anna was going to stay the night and my mom wanted to make sure that everything was perfect and Anna was comfortable and she even offered to let Anna sleep in the basement bedroom because it's really quiet down there

"No it's fine I can just sleep with y/n, if that's ok with her" she said turning to me

"Yeah, that's ok"

I tried to hide my excitement but Anna noticed

"What are you so excited about?"

"Oh uhh... I was just thinking about how we don't have to get up for school tomorrow"

"Oh yeah, the little victories in life" she said chuckling

We walked up to my room and I thew my hair up into a messy bun and I took off my sweatpants so I was just in my hoodie and boxers. I caught Anna staring at me

"Take a picture, it will last longer"

She blushed and looked down at her phone

"Do you want some clothes to sleep in or are you going to wear that to bed?" I asked, refrencing her varsity soccer shirt and her sweatpants

"Could I have a hoodie to sleep in?"

"Yeah, no problem" I said grabbing a hoodie from my closet

"I'm kinda suprised you don't have one of your 8 million hoodies" I said handing my blue champion hoodie to her

"Yeah, the one time I actually need one, I don't have one" she said chuckling

I got under the blankets and scrolled through TikTok for a while, I realized that Anna was still on top of the covers

"Ayo, get under the blankets dummy" I said to her

She got under the blankets and after a matter of minutes we both had fallen asleep.

i really like this chapter ngl. i got a covid test earlier bc of softball and the stick thingy felt like it touched my fucking brain... it was rough
