Chapter 10 - Different from everyone else

I woke up this morning at five am in the morning, went for a jog and did some exercises. After that I got a shower and went downstairs for breakfast, I live alone because I don't like many people around me, the only people who contact me are my family, four childhood friends and their families.

The workers in my villa come only when I am upstairs or when I am in office, they finish their work in maximum three hours and leave. I moved out of our family house after this villa was made, I named it the 'Lily villa'.

People say that I am cold and ruthless, I cannot deny it but it is not fully true because it's not that I don't want to have friends or don't want to interact it's just that from my childhood everyone around me, be it relatives or acquaintances they always acted around me, praising me and flattering me.

After I inherited the company and increased it's ranks, my life became easier, I did not have to interact with many people and my presence in any parties or banquets to meet other businessmen also decreased. I started working like a robot and I still live a robotic life.

I wake up, do my routine, go to work, return, sleep and repeat. Many times I miss my meal but it does not affect me anymore. All the women wanted to marry me but not because they loved me but because I am wealthy, powerful and have a handsome face. I rejected all of them that's why my family always forces me to marry.

Then one day, I met her. When I saw her walking in with the same temperament as me or even colder, a sudden interest rose in me, I saw how she manipulated her sister that she was going to wear a wierd dress, but I did not feel sorry because I could see very well that her sister was the one who started it first.

And to my surprise after I went to attend the banquet, I saw her and found out that she was the next CEO of the Halls Corp. I wanted to talk to her and I did but guess what, not only did she not change her expression on seeing my face but she also left me with a single sentence.

At first I thought she did not know me because I did not show my face in public much, but she knew me and it was the first time someone ignored me and that also too coldly. I thought she was cold to everyone but after she left me, she started to talk to other businessmen!! I thought that she was playing hard to get, but she didn't even look at me once!!

And then I realised that she actually didn't care about me... And I don't know why but I felt a different feeling, I felt upset. And felt that she was different from everyone else....
