Anna woke up later than usual, she had given day offs to the servants too, so that they can enjoy some days.
She took a nice and warm bubble bath and after getting dressed went downstairs to prepare late breakfast for herself.
She put her phone on silent and entered the kitchen, she made some fries, salad, tacos, pancakes and cold drinks.
She sat down on her sofa and binge watched all the movies and episodes she missed. After watching TV for one hour she put it on mute, picked up her phone and opened her social media to check the latest tea and gossips going on.
As she came across a new headline about Joannie and was going to click on it her phone started ringing, she saw the caller ID and frowned, it was her dad, although he always texted her to take care of herself and so on, he only called when it was something urgent or important, after thinking about the worst case scenarios.
Anna picked up the phone, instead of her father's voice her mother's gentle voice called out to her, " Anna, baby how are you?"
Anna calmed down and answered, " I am fine mom how are you? and why did you suddenly call me through dad's phone?" After hesitating for a while, May finally gave in and said," Baby we are planning a family get together the day after tomorrow, will you come?"
"Is that even a question to ask mom, of course I'll come, by the way who all are you inviting?" Although Anna said everything in a calm voice, she was panicking inside because even if she had suffered through her previous life.
She knew that aside from her parents and grandparents all her relatives and cousins envied her and many of them even protested that the heir to the company should be a boy, but thankfully her parents loved her and keeping her potential in mind, passed the company to her.
May said," Well, all the relatives who live in the city are coming." "Okay mom, I'll come, ask dad to message me the time." May was delighted and answered in a excited voice," Okay Anna, bye!!".
Anna started thinking about this get together that was going to be held, to her surprise there was no such event in her previous life, she wondered what led to this sudden change.
She decided to not worry about it, it was her holiday and she was going to enjoy it. With a determined face she went upstairs and after reviewing some documents and sending instructions to her secretary, she decided to take an afternoon nap.
And in the same way she spent her whole day and slept a good night's sleep.
In the presidential suite of a five star hotel, next to the big glass window a man's tall and muscular frame looked down upon the city, he looked deep in thought as he deeply sighed.
He was disturbed when suddenly, a man with gold rimmed glasses came in and said, "Boss, According to the information, Miss Halls has taken a leave from work to relax and has been recently invited to the family mansion for a family get together."
Nick reported as he looked at his boss, who had for the first time asked him to spy on a woman, when he was first told about it he choked on his own saliva and had thought if the sun rose from West but later he realised that his boss was serious about it.
When the madam asked him for God knows the nth time that if his boss liked someone, he finally had something to answer and he quickly poured all the information about Miss Halls.
The man was none other than Chase, he knew that his secretary had told his parents about him getting information about Anna but he did not stop him.
He was and still is very curious about Anna because since the party last year he had wanted to talk to her but he did not because he also wanted to see her potential in business and although he expected that he was still shocked at her efficiency in business.
He was planning to set up a meeting with her by investing in one of their company's projects. And hoping for the best.
