The Same Mistakes {Sequel to Unconditional Love}

Chapter 7

Ashley's P.O.V.

As the kiss got deeper I heard people shouting then it went quiet all of a sudden. Ashley heard the foot steps snapping twigs get closer then she heard the gasps of other people surrounding them. I abruptly pulled away from Harry and swiftly turned around to see everyone including Niall standing there.

I moved away from Harry as he did the same but I couldn't take my eyes off Niall. The expression on his face made my heart hurt. I had hurt him deeply and I knew it.

“I thought you loved me.” Were the last words he told me before he stalked back to camp.

I didn't run after him like I thought I would've but instead I just looked at everyone including Megan whom she was giving the stank eye to Harry and I.

“I'm sorry everyone.” I told everyone before walking in a different direction.

“Ashley wait up. Stop please.” I heard his voice say to me but I wanted to be alone, I needed to be alone with my thoughts before I did something else that was stupid.

“No, Harry go away. I need to be alone, please just go away!” I shouted over my shoulder.

That only made him catch up to me and made me stop in my tracks while both of his arms wrapped around my shoulder's and whispered

“I'm sorry. I-I love you still Ashley and I-” Harry started to say but I interrupted him and said

“No I'm sorry. I got caught up in my emotions. I'm sorry for leading you on, I don't mean too but I love Niall and I-I think I messed everything up between him and me.” Right after I said that I turned around and puked.

“Ashley, you okay?” I didn't respond to him because I just kept puking while Harry held my hair back so I wouldn't get stuff in it.

After a couple of minutes after I dry heaved a couple of times I moved away from the smelly area and against a tree with Harry attached to my side. I was grateful for him trying to help me but I was too emotional right now to really tell him how I feel.

I did try a couple of times but I ended up just giving up because whenever I started I get tongue tied and couldn't finish the sentence.

I finally asked Harry to take me back to camp and when I got there Niall was gone and Liam told me he had arranged for a flight back home but everyone else was staying to help clean up and leave back when were supposed too.

After we cleaned up and went back to my mom's house I found myself outside brushing Dusty and Oreo thinking about everything. I ended up crying and I decided to take a ride on Dusty. I saddled him up and we ended up going out farther in the field beside my mother's house and then I wanted to feel the wind against my skin so I gave him his head and boy was he fast as I used to remember whenever we went riding.

I came back and bathed Dusty when I seen Rachel and Liam playing around in the front yard and I made me miss Niall so much it hurt my chest.

I wasn't going to talk to him until he was ready to talk. I new I had messed up and I was going to regret what I had done forever. I started to think about what we could've had and I was scared we were over for sure this time, but I remembered the engagement ring on my finger and I looked down to see it glimmering in the sunlight. Dusty neighed at me when I noticed Oreo was laying down on the ground whining.

We both ran over to her and I seen what was happening, Oreo was giving birth to her baby. I didn't know what to do so I called out to Rachel.

“Rachel! Rachel!” She stopped running and that's when Liam bumped in to her and I laughed.
