2 weeks later

Chris got called into a facility with no information. She angrily stormed inside before anyone could warn her

"Are you serious Fury? I was having a nice time reintroducing the world to him then you call me in for some bullshit mission?" Chris yelled

"Mission?" Tony asked

"Uh ho" Chris said as she saw her brother sat there

"You ruined it now" Fury shook his head

"That was your fault for the lack of information" Chris told him, crossing her arms

"I wasn't expecting you to be here for another 2 hours!" Fury argued

"Well I am here now because you said it was urgent!" Chris yelled back

"What are you going on about Chrissy?" Tony asked, Chris looked at Fury who gave her an approving nod

"I am an Agent of SHIELD... I have been since I was 21..." Chris explained

"Why didn't you tell me?" Tony asked

"Because I told her not to as a promise your dad made with me" Fury explained for Chris

"Wait, did you know about dad being a founding member?" Tony asked her

"Yes. I know everything Tony. Natasha is one of my longest friends in SHIELD besides Fury and Coulson... and some others" Chris explained to him

"Wait so  the protection after the car accident... all of it was an act?"

"No, it wasn't... Tony, it is a long ass story" Chris answered with a frustrated tone.

"Anyway, before you stormed in here I was making a deal with your brother" Fury explained as he handed her the assessment file

"Ha, she really put that down" Chris laughed as she read her friends report on her brother.

"That's mean" Tony said to his sister

"Get use to it" Chris smirked

"Anyway, I will wave my customary retainer for an exchange of a small favour... Rhodey and I are being honoured in Washington and we need a presenter" Tony said as he stood up and walked over to his sister

"I'll see what I can do" Fury said

"That will end hilariously then" Chris said

"Christina, this is for you. Take it and I'll see you in a few weeks" Fury said, pointing at a box. She rolled her eyes a little as she picked it up and took it with her

"Where is your car?" Tony asked

"I was dropped off in a helicopter" Chris answered

"I still don't believe or at least understand that and you" Tony said waving his hand between Chris and the building

"What part?" Chris sighed, knowing she had a lot to explain

"How about all of it?"

"Dad was a founding member, I knew about it since I was 7... I used to go to SHIELD with him, I was introduced to a lot of people before I joined two years after mom and dad died... I have known Fury since then, I was there when he got promoted from an Agent all the way upto Director" Chris explained

"Wait so that night he was in the house, did you know he was there?"

"Yeah" Chris nodded as she pulled up her hood and tapped the top for a moment so the logo faded into a normal jacket

"Wait, I have seen you wear that one before" Tony remembered

"Its my favourite jacket, that's why" Chris laughed

"So much makes sense... who else knows?" Tony asked

"A very limited number of people know who I am. I am just Agent Carbonell to most of SHIELD" Chris explained

"That's moms maiden name" Tony realised and Chris nodded as he drove the two closer to Washington before she got a call

"What can I do for you?" Chris asked

"Nothing, I was just wondering if you were close by so we could meet up" Steve asked

"I'm out of state at the moment and might be for a while... I'll come back before my next mission though" Chris explained

"That's okay, thank you Agent Stark" Steve said

"Just Chris" She laughed as she ended the call

"New boyfriend?"

"No. He is a friend though" Chris answered

She and Tony made it to a hotel where Chris ordered some clothes to their room, they got the one because it was only being used for the day as she wasn't planning to stay for the night. Chris got into a suit and so did Tony before they made their way down to the location this medal award was happening

"Told you it would end hilariously" Chris laughed as she nodded towards the senator

"This is just perfect" Tony smirked a little as he helped his sister through the crowd of cameras

"You don't need to do that" Chris argued

"I know but you're still my little sister who I have helped for 33 years" Tony argued

"Go get your medal" Chris laughed as she was seated at the front

"It is my honour to be here today to present these distinguished awards to Lieutenant Colonel James Rhodes and Mr Tony Stark, who if of course... a national treasure" The Senator said as he gave them the medals before turning for the camera. Chris laughed as she joined the crowd in the applause.

A fair few moments later Tony and Rhodey walked down to see Chris

"Congratulations on those" She smiled

"He pricked me" Tony said

"I saw, can't blame him though" Chris joked

"You are not being nice today at all" Tony told her

"It has been a long day for me, this is the third state I have been in!" Chris argued

"Third?" Rhodey asked

"New York, California and now here" Chris answered as she walked inbetween the two

"What were you doing in New York?" Tony asked

"People stuff" Chris answered

"That's vague" Rhodey pointed out

"That's because it is apart of my job to keep secrets and keep it vague, see you later. I got my ride" Chris said as Nat pulled up in one of Christina's cars

"You really let her drive your car?" Tony asked her

"She can drive better than you" Chris laughed as she got in her car

"Call me once in a while" Tony told his sister

"I won't be gone for long" Chris told him as she waved bye before Nat drove off
