"Come on, you got to eat" Tony whined at his sister

"I will later, I need to talk to Steve" Chris argued as she took her glass and made her way to Steve's room. She hesitated before she softly knocked on the door and he answered

"Christina, are you okay?"

"We should talk about something... well, someone" Chris said as he let her in. She sat with him on either ends of the bed
"You're old friend... James Bucky Barnes..." Christina started

"He is alive... He was there when SHIELD fell" Steve explained

"He... Yeah, he was with me through Hydra..." Christina nodded

"He was?"

"They mind controlled him... us... we both went through a similar thing but his was far worse and for much longer... did... did you know what he done?"

"Done?" Steve raised his eyebrow

"To my..." Chris couldn't bring herself to finish the sentence

"I found out not long ago while trying to find him... I am so sorry" Steve said

"It isn't yours or his fault... only Hydras. I... I have some files hidden away in my old apartment so I can give you the location so you can use them to see if you can find him" Christina suggested

"What about a key?" Steve laughed

"Yeah... that doesn't work, you got to pick the lock" Christina shrugged
"Good night" Chris smiled awkwardly before she left and went to the landing bay. She dangled her feet over the edge before she slowly lost control of her emotions as she watched the world pass. She tucked herself into a ball as tears streamed down her face

"Chris? Hey, Chrissy... you're okay" Nat said as she ran and sat next to Chris and hugged her best friend tightly

"It is so confusing and painful Tasha... I just... I want a break" Chris cried

"You'll get one, it is okay... I got you" Nat comforted her.

A few hours later

Tony and Bruce were still down in the lab, Tony put this file down on the side before he walked over to Bruce

"Have you spoke to Christina?" Bruce asked as he ran other scan on the sceptre

"I just want to let her get use to it all... she must've gone through a lot with being caged up for 3 years" Tony sighed a little as he went to walk back for the file and saw it was gone
"Did you take my file?" Tony asked Bruce

"No" Bruce said, putting down the tablet before she walked over to try help Tony find it, seeing it directly under the unit.

"I dropped it" Tony stated as he picked it up while Bruce walked back and saw the tablet had also vanished

"No, something is going on" Bruce said as they turned around after hearing a rattle from the bar, seeing it phasing in and out of a shadow state.

"Chrissy" Tony realised as he recognised the pattern from the jet. He ran out the lab with Bruce before he went to the elevator and saw Nat in there with Clint

"You realised it was your sister then?" Clint groaned

"Why are you so grumpy?" Tony asked

"His bed faded so he fell off in his sleep" Nat tried not to laugh

"She doesn't mean it, hopefully" Bruce said as they all got off at the level and Nat went inside first, seeing Christina on the floor with a mist around her.

"Chrissy" Nat spoke as she walked in with Tony and Bruce. They saw her struggling in her sleep as she was covered this dark mist
"Christina!" Nat shouted, causing the woman to throw herself up right. She caught her breath as looked around, her eyes were black.

"Wh... what happened?" Chris asked in a weird accent

"We want to ask the same thing, what going on? You're controlling the entire tower" Tony told her as she looked and her objects in her room shifting. She took a deep long breath as she waved her hands and stopped it

"It was just a bad dream... I am sorry for disturbing you all" She apologised as she changed her eyes back to their usual brownish colour.

"Why are you so suddenly posh?" Nat asked

"Sorry... wait, what?" Chris asked confused

"You just apologised like you were from Victorian England" Tony stated

"I don't remember that... I'm sorry, I am tired as hell but don't want to sleep" Chris explained as she leaned back against the wall

"What did you see?" Nat asked, Chris lowered her head for a moment

"I... I saw this thing..." Chris stuttered as she grabbed this leather journal from under the box next to her. She opened it and flicked through a few pages before she showed it to Nat.
"Just her" Chris told the two men as they went to look

"Why?" Tony asked, feeling a little hurt and taken back by her sudden secrecy

"I can't... I can't show you yet..." Chris answered

"Are you sure?" Nat asked and Christina nodded. Nat slowly leaned back after she handed Chris the book back

"Chris, you got to tell us if it makes Nat look that scared-"

"-I'm not scared, Stark" Nat snarled at him

"I just need something to take my mind off it all" Chris said as she stood up with them all

"Oh, Clint is pissed with you" Tony added

"Why?" Chris raised her eyebrow

"Your magic phased him out of bed" Nat laughed

"I wish I was able to see that" Chris smiled slightly as she walked out of her room and saw Clint
"I am but also am not sorry" Chris smiled as she hugged Clint a little

"You hug attacked me, that is unfair" Clint grumbled

"I know" Chris smirked before she saw a shadow door at the end of the hallway, getting mesmerised by it

"Let's go bake something, keep you up for a while" Nat suggested, breaking her concentration and seeing it vanish

"Okay" Christina nodded as she turned around and followed Nat to the kitchen

"So, you really saw the actual Witch?" Nat asked Chrissy once they were alone

"Yeah... Eira was infront of me but then the nightmare started after when I was put into chains... Hydra kept me strapped up for days and the soldier... I was tortured for so long and it just won't leave my head" Chris explained as she pulled the sleeves over her hands and played with the rims of it.

"It won't vanish over night Chrissy, sometimes it doesn't ever vanish" Nat said as she grabbed things from the fridge

"I know... it is worse when 4 words can set you into a completely obedient killing machine" Chris sighed as she handed Nat a few bowls and the scales

"You went through the same thing as Steve's friend?" Nat asked and Chris hummed a little yes before she went to grab the icing stuff

"It just was two different worlds crashing... my newer life I have found from Shadow mixed with the ones Hydra tried to kill with their weird machines" Chris explained as she started to make the icing
