They started to approach the Wakandan barriers, over the large fields. Chris sat at the back, texting Pepper while they reached closer
"Christina, do you think you can do anything to help ease Visions pain?" Wanda asked as she came and sat infront of Chris
"I don't think so... I have only ever worked with humans and Asgardians... nothing more or mixed in some way" Chris answered as she felt the Jet turning
"We're here" Steve said as she felt them land. Nat and Steve went ahead while Chris walked with Sam just behind them
"Seems like I'm always thanking you for something" Steve said as they shook hands while Chris stood next to Nat
"We don't go that here" T'Challa said as they turned to see Bruce bowing down awkwardly with Rhodey smiling at him
"So mean but worth it" Chris laughed a little
"So, how big of an assault should we expect?" T'challa asked as they started to walk
"Uh Sir... I think you should expect quite a big assault" Bruce answered
"How are we looking?" Nat asked
"You will have my kingsgaurd, the border tribe, the Dora Milaje and-"
"-a semi stable 100 year old man" Bucky spoke up as he approached
"How you been, Buck?" Steve asked
"Uh not bad for the end of the world" Bucky answered
"You gonna come inside?" Nat asked Chris
"No, go ahead" Chris said as she walked over to Bucky
"Mental arm nickname can finally make a return" She teased
"Haha, very funny" Bucky laughed as they hugged
"Kinda missed you" Chris smiled as she pulled away
"Wheres the little princess and prince gone?"
"They aren't royalty but they are with Pepper back at the compound" Chris answered as she then looked around to see Rhodey getting his suit on
"Ah yeah, the near be princess of Asgard" Bucky stated as Chris rolled her eyes at him
"Almost as if you have a thing for calling me Princess" Chris smirked as she flicked her wrists as her bracelets glew a bright white as her suit came forming on her. It was a black and green jumpsuit with no sleeves but some metal cuff bracelets attached to some golden gloves.
"What the hell" Sam stated as he looked between Bucky and Chris
"What?" Chris shrugged
"Just stop, leave my best friends little sister alone" Rhodey said
"Oh come on, it's nothing serious" Chris laughed
"Still" Rhodey said as his helmet closed up. Chris rolled her eyes as she moved away from Bucky
"Nothing serious?" Bucky asked her
"It isn't serious now, Buck... that's clear enough when you aren't even suppose to be in the same country as me thanks to the accords... plus hydra" Chris said
"Chris, come over here quick" Rhodey said, Chris lowered her head away from Bucky as she walked away to Rhodey
"They think they had a pickup on a beacon for a chance to see the ship that Tony left in" Rhodey said
"No, it wouldn't be so close and I'm 99 percent sure that the one on the news was 30 times that size" Chris stated with a sigh
"Somethings off" Chris suddenly said as she looked up at the sky
"Guys! Look!" Chris said as this bright beam showed way up in the atmosphere, getting closer at a fast rate
"Hey cap, we got a situation here!" Sam spoke down the comms as it came far closer and the four looked up at the sky
"This is a shitty way to die" Chris stated
"Really? That's what you're thinking right now?" Rhodey asked Chris as it came closer and then exploded on the blue barrier
"God I love this place" Bucky said as he looked up
"Yeah, don't start celebrating yet, guys... we got more incoming outside the dome!" Rhodey stated
"We are so screwed" Chris laughed nervously, getting a look from Sam and Bucky
"I'm nervous okay! I have no filter" Chrissy defended herself just as they watched the ship parts land outside the dome.
Soon, the armies came flooding out of the palace and T'Challa walked over to Chrissy with Nat and Steve
"You two happy riding with us?" Nat asked
"You realise I can get there in less than a second if I wanted to, right?" Chris asked as she held her powers in her hand
"I know" Nat laughed a little
"I'll fly" Chris nodded as she stood next to Sam and Rhodey
"I'll race you" She smirked as she pushed off with her powers and started to fly ahead with the Wakandans and Avengers below her. She stayed closely above and soon saw Bruce fall over a rock
"Haha" Chris laughed
"I'm okay, I'm okay" Bruce told them all down the comms
"Looked fun, maybe just don't tell Tony you scratched the painting even more" Chris giggled
"I got two heat signatures breaking through the tree line" Rhodey said, changing the topic as they flew closer. Chrissy landed down next to Nat
"They are from him" Chris nodded as she saw the Aliens approaching the boarder. Chris walked with Nat and stood inbetween her and Bucky as the rest of the Dora Milaje arrived close to them and other tribes
"Ain't that the gun I gave Nat for her birthday like 4 years ago?" Chris asked, raising her eyebrow at Bucky
"It is... that explains where it went" Nat nodded
"Steve let me use it" Bucky said
"Don't blame poor old Spandex" Chris scoffed
"Let's go be the welcome wagon" Nat said to Steve as they both and T'challa left to go to the boarder
"You ready for this?" Bucky asked Chris
"Honestly? No... far from it" Chris answered as she gripped her gloves a little
"Big step up from people to Aliens"
"That part doesn't bother me... I have a history with these guys... they tried to recruit me when I left Asgard at one point, way back when I was just Eira... they know how to fight better than you and once these stones get to Thanos... we are screwed" Chris said
"He already has a few"
"I know and it terrifies me" Chris stated
