Just know that Janus and Virgil and everyone mentioned in the last part, do speak olden French- but as angels, its translated so anyone can understand them.

Virgil sighed, glancing over to Janus who was running around with Nico. Nico had grown, he wasn't a full angel, he just hadn't gotten his wings yet, but that didn't mean anything. Virgils heart ached at the fact his brother had died so young... It was so obvious when compared to Nico and Casper. Janus' wings flapped lightly, catching up with Nico with a giggle.

"No fair!" Nico laughed. Janus giggled, running away as fast as he could. Virgil smiled softly, flying down to the open area they were in. It was getting late.

"Jan!" Janus paused, looking over to Virgil.

"Yeah?" Virgil tilted his head towards where the two slept, it wasn't really a house, more of just an area that was kind of closed off. Janus pouted, waving bye to Nico before flying over to Virgil. "Fineeeeee" Virgil smiled softly, leading Janus to the bed. Janus hesitated laying down albeit tensely. Virgil passed him a worried look, wrapping his large wing over Janus and holding the younger close. Janus relaxed slightly, snuggling into Virgils hold.

"I need you to watch over this child, his name is Thomas. He's down on his luck, and is quite important to the future." Virgil nodded, looking over to Janus, offering his hand. The other angel stoped Janus with a sad smile. "We can only afford Virgil to go... I'm sorry Janus, Nico can watch over you while your brother is gone... Only two days alright?" Janus sniffled, nodding. Virgil hesitated, looking at Janus.

"It's gonna be ok Jan, ill be back before you know it." Virgil mumbled. Janus nodded, watching as Virgils wings turned a grey before he fell through the sky. Janus looked away quickly, sitting down and curling up.The other angel sat with him, rubbing his shoulder.

"Let's go find Nico" They said, helping Janus to his feet. Janus nodded, getting up and walking towards where Nico and sometimes Casper normally were. It was weird to hang out with his two childhood friends that were suddenly much taller and technically older then him, but he didn't mind much. Janus plopped next to Nico, resting his head on Nicos chest. The other Angel left, leaving the two alone. Janus curled up.

"Virgil had to go down for a little..." Janus whispered. Nico nodded, running his fingers through Janus' hair.

"It'll be ok..." Nico mumbled. Janus nodded, blinking to stay awake. He wasn't safe without Virgil. He couldn't sleep without his brother right there with him.

Janus tackled Virgil as soon as he came back up. Virgils eyes were filled with wonder, but he hugged Janus quickly.

"They've advanced so much...  They had these lights, that they didn't need to light like a candle... It's incredible Jan..." Virgil whispered with a laugh. Janus hummed sleepily, not really listening.

"M' tired..." Janus mumbled. Virgil nodded, wrapping him up in his arms, and carrying him to bed.

"Go to bed Jan... I'm here for you" Janus nodded with a mumble, falling asleep quickly. Virgil frowned lightly, not even remembering or knowing why Janus would be so scared to fall asleep without Virgil. Virgil sighed, falling asleep like Janus.

Virgil sighed, Janus had been sleeping less and less lately, and he didn't know why. Janus wouldn't tell him either. Virgil wanted to know why. Virgil rested his head on his arms, which were on his knees, looking down at Janus talking with Nico and Casper. Casper had his wing wrapped around Nico, Virgil was sure the two were siblings or great friends, but that never explained why the two looked at each other like how his Ma looked at his Dad. Virgil shook it off, closing his eyes and sighing. He had so many questions, and nobody to answer them. At least he had eternity to get it all answered.
