I love this chapter oh my god-

Just about the same time as Roman

Logan smiled softly, looking at the liquid held by the glass vial. Logan looked over to his papers, then to his extremely willing participants. They were some military officers who had very weak powers, who had gone to him in hopes that he had something to help. By very willing, Logan meant they had begged him to test it on them. Logan had no choice, they probably would've done it themselves if he didn't. He normally tested things on rats or even DNA slides, never people. He guessed this one time wouldn't hurt. After all, it had been perfected, he was sure it would be fine. He sighed looking over to the three people.

"Please know that this is a one time thing unless of course your military branch approves it" Logan explained. The people nodded, and he sighed, grabbing a syringe and taking up exactly two milligrams, doing that three times and then grabbing alcohol wipes to clean their arms. "Roll up your sleeves" He sighed, putting some new gloves on. A knock sounded from his door and he groaned, settting the basket of the items down on the counter and taking off his once new gloves and throwing them out. He opened his door, raising a brow at the officer. "Good afternoon sir." Logan greeted, narrowing his eyes in confusion. He wasn't dumb, he thought, pushing up his glasses, the police knew of his lab, and left him alone. He also knew the police and justice system in general wasn't the best, and that he could very well be arrested for taking too long to open his door.

"Are you Scientist Logan Berry?" Logan nodded softly with confusion.

"Yes I am, is there a problem sir?" The officer shrugged.

"Depends, I need to search your lab" Logan gulped softly, opening the door wider to let them in.

"Please ignore these fellows, they were just here for a visit" Logan said, nervously adjusting his tie.

"A visit of what means?"

"Just to catch up" Logan explained, glaring at the military officers, telling them to shut their mouths. The officer nodded suspiciously, his eyes catching on the syringes filled with the light blue liquid.

"And what is this?" Logan beamed, it was his newest project after all, he was proud of it.

"I must ask you to not touch it, however it is a power enhancing liquid, it makes someone with a less powerful, well, power become slightly stronger, to come on par with a more average power. I only test on rats and DNA slides" Logan explained. The officer looked at the military folks, seeing that one of them had yet to roll their sleeve back down. Logan clenched his eyes shut in a small panic.

"Why is it that one of your friends have their sleeves rolled up and you have no animals out while you have three filled syringes then?" Logan let out a small breath.

"I can not answer for my friend, however I was simply preparing the syringes, I've found the rats seem to do better if they don't see it filled." Logan knew he was bullshitting, he could care less, he was not about to serve time for a military officer begging him to do what he had been about to do. The officer shook his head.

"Your coming with me, hands behind your back, anything you say can and will be used against you in court," The officer explained, "You wont be getting ac out hearing though..." He muttered. Logan sighed, putting his hands behind his back and letting the officer lead him out the building. He stayed calm, he said nothing, he looked around the small crowd as he was brought out, watching as a red haired male talked with a officer. Something in Logan told him too, he didn't know what it was. But his eyes flashed blue, and he pulled the information of where the individual lived and his current thoughts. Logan calmly got in he car, processing the information. He smiled softly, listening to the males thoughts of how Logan hadn't done anything wrong, how experiments going wrong was how scientists learned and fixed things. The last thing he had heard from the male was how horrible the justice system had truly gotten. He had to agree, the police had been arresting more and more innocent people. He could barely call himself innocent, he made deadly gasses for the military, but the fact he wasn't even getting a hearing, was messed up. He couldn't do anything about it, no matter how much he spited the fact.

Logan sighed, looking around the cell he had to share. They had put power canceling handcuffs on him. The same type he had literally made for the police force and military. He almost laughed over the fact. He glanced at his bunk mate, he had heard him and a group talking about breaking out. With Logan being so smart, and also literally being able to knock people out with the blink of his eyes, he was being roped into it. It was tonight, Logan just had to get the handcuffs off the group with out the small alarms on them going off. He glanced at them, before grabbing a paperclip someone had snagged of a guard, it was actually very easy to get these things off, there was a small hole, that if you pressed something into it, it would unlock the handcuffs and turn off their alarm. It was how they worked. Logan sat on the concrete floor, bending the paper clip before shaving it down to make small enough. He quickly inserted the clip, hearing the soft buzz and click from the cuffs. He looked over to his bunk mate who had been silent until that moment. Logan took off the cuffs, letting his eyes flash blue before Marks, his bunk mate, handcuffs deactivated and unlocked.

"Happy?" Logan sighed. Mark nodded, helping Logan off the floor. Logan grimaced, wiping his hand. Logans eyes flashed blue again, the door opening silently. "How what?" Mark raised a brow.

"We get the fuck out of here"

"And the others?"

"Leave them, don't need them, they all were just extra baggage" Mark said, slipping past Logan and into the hall. Logan rolled his eyes, following after him, knocking any guards out they came across, along with pointing forcefully cameras down when needed. Logan sighed as a light throb settled behind his eyes.

"Do the door" Mark whispered, referring to the side door they had found a few days ago. Logan nodded, his eyes lighting up blue for much longer. The door clicked, and Logan groaned lightly. He was definitely no longer a innocent man, and now his head hurt. Mark smiled, stepping outside. For whatever reason, this was the door they never guarded, and lead right out the fence. Logan walked with Mark, parting with him as the two technically escaped. He groaned, jogging to a nearby alley. He rested his head on the wall, looking down at the street clothes that were most definitely not his style. He shook his head, thinking back to what the red haired individuals address was. He just hoped he hadn't moved in the past few days. Logan looked at the street he was on, mapping out the streets before he found he quickest route to the house. He nodded, quickly stepping onto the street.

Logan knocked on the door, smoothing his wrinkled clothes, and smoothing his hair back down. Logans eyes flashed blue when the door opened, quickly getting the males name. Roman Logan nodded to them.

"Roman king, correct?" Roman tensed, looking Logan over.

"Depends on who's asking" Logan chuckled with a nod.

"Logan Berry, Former world class Scientist, I'm here to propose a business deal" Logan explained, his hand reaching up to fix his tie before realizing. Romans eyes lit up, he nodded, letting Logan in.
