Three days after Sarah came into the hospital neither Corey or I could find anything. Sitting across the table in his apartment from each other I watch as he shoves his hands through his hair. "If this girl has any record I can't find it! I don't understand how we have another ghost in Charleston." Closing my laptop I drop my head onto the table. Nothing makes sense. Corey lets out a huff and keeps muttering to himself about ghosts.

Figuring a break might be what I need. I pull out my headphones and attach them to my computer to keep working on a project. Corey flips through a few things on his phone before sitting bolt upright. Pausing everything I pull out the earbuds to see what's going on. His body is frozen in place as he reads over something on his phone. Pushing back my chair I go to see what's caused the quick change.

A news article is pulled up on his phone with Wil Winchester's face on it. His school picture in full color, the scared look always in his eyes piercing through the screen. The words 'Local Man Found Beaten On Side Of Highway' stares back at us in bold letters. Corey still hasn't scrolled down to read the article. He just keeps staring at the photo with shock and pain etched deeply into his face.

I place my hand lightly on his shoulder and it seems to snap him out of his daze. "We need to get to the hospital. We have to tell Sang." Nodding quietly I shove my computer into my bag and grab the keys. His blue eyes are a bit misty and still hold a slight panic. When he sees the keys in my hand Corey doesn't protest. He knows he's in no state to drive.

I know that when the Toma's were with Kayli Corey tried to take Wil under his wing. This has to be hitting him really hard. I know Sean and Brandon are both at the hospital so I hope they can make sure he doesn't slip too far into shock. The car ride seems to take ages and seconds all at once. The feeling of time slipping away is more familiar than I care to admit, especially because of the reasons.

I lead Corey up to Sang's room slowly since he hasn't said anything yet. Brandon and Sang are both laughing at something when Brandon catches sight of Corey's face. He quickly jumps up and ushers Corey over to the chair he just abandoned. Sang's face falls at the sight of Corey's shell shocked one and her eyes search mine for something. I'm not sure what she finds but it's enough to bring a steel that I haven't seen in her eyes since waking up.

She holds her hand out to me and beckons me forward. Reaching over she grasps Corey's hand just as Brandon comes back in with Sean and a glass of water. Her other hand that had been reaching to me skims across the back of my hand. Sang's eyes roam over Corey's face before she gives his hand a squeeze. This causes him to blink a few times and look down at her face.

The mist that covered his eyes the entire car ride finally spills over as he hands his phone to Brandon. Brandon sucks in a breath when he sees the article and stills just like Corey did. Without a word he passes the phone to Sean. Once Sean sees the headline he immediately pulls out his phone and steps out of the room. I assume to find more information on Wil.

Sang looks back to me as Bradon sinks into the couch across the room. I watch her eyes widen slightly in question. Taking a fortifying breath I brush a stray lock of hair away from her eyes. "Sang, something happened to Wil." The steel in her eyes hardens as her hand clenches around Corey's. "He was found on the side of the highway beaten this morning. I think Sean just went to find out more information."

Sang closes her eyes and sucks in a few stuttering breaths. When she opens her eyes again they're cold and hard. The emotion I've gotten used to seeing while she's in the hospital is nowhere to be found. "Can I see please?" Her voice monotone but it seems to take a large amount of energy to push out. Nodding I hand her the phone Sean placed in my hand as he left the room. Her eyes scroll over the article before she hands me the phone back.

Corey reaches over and brushes his fingers across the top of her arm causing her to jerk away. Hurt flits across his face before he nods. Sang seems to wilt in on herself before my eyes. Closing her eyes again I watch as she seems to fall asleep. I don't think she did but I'm not going to say anything until we know more. Going to sit next to Brandon I resign myself to wait until Dr. Green comes back with more information.

After about half an hour Dr. Green comes back in with a grim look on his face. Sang's eyes spring open at the sound of the door creaking open. His 'doctor' face is in full effect right now and I know it can't be good. Meeting Sang's wide eyes he takes a deep breath. "Wil Winchester was found this morning off of highway 9 unconscious and beaten. He is currently at the hospital across town in a medically induced coma. He had to have surgery upon arrival but is stable. I'm having him transferred here as soon as possible."

Sang nods her head, eyes still lacking all emotion. After a moment a flicker of fear dances through her eyes before quickly disappearing. A short, broken breath rushes out of her as Sang nods once again. "Thank you." Her voice is raspy and cracks half way through the two words. Corey watches her face with a look of worry on his own. Brandon watches Corey with the same expression. No one seems to notice Sean cracking though. Pulling out my phone I shoot Mr. Blackbourne a text telling him to get to the hospital. Sean needs him.
