This man deserves an award. The way how he still has the strength to smile-even though its a fake one. He still smiles.
After his awful childhood, he still wanted to be a hero and save others. He has nothing in his life. No happiness. No girlfriend. Nothing.
But he did have a wife.
Thats right. She always listens to his side of the story when he came home and started rambling. She never once judged him for what he's done.
He was lucky when he found her when he did. She was broken too. He gave her a reason to smile, and that was to make him smile.
"Chicken?" Y/n was confused. Why didnt he come greet her like he usually do when she comes home. Could he be out?
No. He'd leave a note somewhere in her eye sight.
"Buck, buck, b-buc-buck." She made chicken noises. Knowing he was gonna laugh at them.
"Pppfff-" The muffled laugh came from their bedroom.
"Why didnt you come greet me at the door?" She asked walking in the the room to see feathers all over the floor.
He was stressed out again.
"Are you tired?" She asked. Now walking closer to the bed.The feathers on the floor moved out her way. "Stressed?"
This time he nodded.
Y/n got in the bed and started rubbing his little tiny wings that was left. "Whats got ya stressed?" She knew he wasnt gonna talk till 15 minutes later.
While the wait, she gently caressed his brilliant red feathers on his back. He smiled inside the pillow and grabbed for her hand. Y/n saw this, and took hold of his hand. Filling it with her small hand.
"Work." He turned his head away from her and looked elsewhere.
"The shitty committee?" Y/n asked ash Keigo's cheeks puffed trying to hold his laugh.
"Yeah. The s-shitty committee.."
That was what Y/n called those people who think they run people's lives. The Shitty Committee.
Y/n laid on the other side of the bed and petted her chest. "Come heeeere~" And like a child, he laid his body on top of hers. Y/n wrapped her legs around his waist and kisses his cheek.
"Your too good for me," He grabbed her hand and looked at the shining diamond on her ring finger.
"That was the best day of my life." He admitted.
"Best day of our life." Y/n corrected him. She still was caressing his feathers with her left hand. "I will never regret marring you. You brought sunshine and rainbows into my life and gave me a reason to live on!"
"I wont regret marring you either. You comforted me with open arms when I told you about my past... and I thank you for that. You are pushing me to go forward. You make me get out of bed in the morning. If it wasnt for you coming into my life, I wouldnt be as strong as I am. I love you so much. And only you." He brought her hand up to his lips and pecked her knuckles.
"I love you more. Dont get all cheesy with me... Ill cry." Y/n sniffled and squeezed Keigo's hand. "I think we'll be juuuuuust fine."
