However, I have decided to delay our marriage by a year to ensure that it does not take place too soon after my father's passing. Additionally, I have implemented a law stating that the heir of the kingdom's consort shall carry the heir's last name, regardless of their own surname. This ensures that my family will always have a Tudor ruler on the throne of England.
Moreover, my cousin Charles wrote a letter to me expressing his condolences over my father's passing and wishing me well as the new queen of England. While I appreciate his letter, I cannot help but question its sincerity given that I have only met him once.
