I woke up before dawn as I headed towards Daphne's room. Slowly I creaked open the door into the dark room to check on Daphne. She shifted towards me wide awake before I even opened my mouth.
"Daisy?" She squinted
"Yessssss."
"What on earth are you doing?!" Daphne furrowed her brow at me
I clasped my hands together nervously, "I just wanted to check on you..." A slight smile formed on her face before she patted the empty side of her bed.
I smiled as I jumped onto the spot and pulled over the covers.
About an hour passed by, with Daphne unable to sleep. I felt bad trust me I truly did but...if someone I truly loved said that 'he couldn't marry me' I wouldn't be crying for him because it would be a waste of my tears. but that's just me.
But every person copes in different ways
I sighed whiles brushing through Daphne's hair hoping it would calm her.
Daphne sniffled as she sat up on the bed, "There ought to be something we can do to stop this nonsense!"
"I suppose but what ought we to do?"
She huffed, "grab your coat and wait for me outside the office going to have a nice little word with colin."
I nervously paced outside the office slightly chewing on my nails. She's mad Daphne is out of her mind. She-
The door quickly open as Daphne came practically running out of it, "Make haste daisy we haven't a moment to lose." Without a second thought, I trailed behind her like a lost puppy
Okay, maybe I take back the 'she's out of her mind ' insult.
