My sister well he wants to be a mister,
Now I will support him,

He wants to wear a binder,
Not some floral print dress,
Just a masculine flat chest,

Now I'm trying my best to come to terms with it all,
I mean he's having a ball,

Because all he ever wanted was to been seen as himself,
Rather then dolled up and left on the shelf,

Boy to girl,
Girl to boy.

Why should this matter?
The stereotypes need to shatter,

You can be anyone you desire,
Build that empire,

And at the end of the day gender,
Is not the problem,
It is what people perceive gender to be,

Now I see,
Everyone has a point of view,
They are entitled to that,
But change is due,

So if you are against something for any reason or belief keep that to yourself dont hate,

At this rate,
Most transgender kids women an men,
Wont seek treatment,

And at what cost to postpone your desire,
As those with power climb higher.

Banning all manner of things so you feel less then human,
You are not an abomination,

Yes at times there will be trepidation,
But we can help,

Money and power,
There is not one without the other,
But if you are a lover,
Then you have no reason to hide under your cover,

Be open,
Be proud,
Most importantly,

Be you,
I know i may never change you,
I know the whole pronouns thing is going to take time,
But by that point you will be in your prime,

I am so very lucky to have a big brother,
You are my best friend.

A/n made because it was transgender visibility day yesterday, and my brother deserves the world. I'll support anyone I am personally part of the LGBTQ+ community and I appreciate people with different views, but under no circumstances will I accept hate or discrimination against a group of individuals trying to live there lives. That goes for any group.
