Deathbringer stood, watching his love with wary eyes.

Glory noticed him and rolled her eyes. "You don't have to watch me every moment of my life. I think seven invisible guards are enough." Pink swirled around her ear ruffs.

"Yes, but I wouldn't leave you for the world." Glory blushed. He did this to her:

, pausing before they kissed.

"What's wrong, dearest? I know you hate it when people judge your feelings by what color you are, but I can't help but notice you're quite literally looking blue today."

"Everything's wrong," Glory grumped. "It's rainy, Fatespeaker's with Starflight, and" she glanced at Deathbringer "I'm with egg."

Deathbringer inhaled. "I was wondering where you went without your all-powerful and all-hansome bodyguard yesterday."

"And how you got away from yours truly." Deathbringer kissed her. She asked for entry, and he let her in. Their tongues fought for dominance before they fell apart, panting wildly.

She climbed into bed. Deathbringer followed. Soon, Glory's tired eyes closed against her will. Deathbringer put his wing around her and drifted to sleep.
