I was sitting at the bar again. I sighed at my blurred sight. How did I get here? Im embarrassed that I've become such a drinker but I just can't help it anymore. It makes me forget about everything. I checked my phone to see if the nanny called or texted, but there was nothing.

"What's wrong love bug" Lily asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"I don't know. Im just really down today." I admitted. I liked Lily because I felt like she understood my moods and didn't judge me for the way I handled them.

"What's going on, talk to me"

"Your cousin....he's...he's a fucking asshole" I started. She giggled.

"He's so mean. First he's all super close to me, hugging me. The next thing I know he's pushing me away, telling me to shut up and yelling at me for having feelings towards literally anything. I don't get him." I finished taking a sip of the drink she made me

"I told you not to take his mood swings seriously." She said and looked around at the full bar.

"Look Bianca, my cousin seems to care about you. He doesn't ever talk to anyone nearly as much as he talks and worries about you. Maybe he's just trying to get you to understand him in a way. I mean, I don't even fully understand him but if you just give him some time to adjust to having you around then it'll get better...." she said quietly.

I looked at her. She had a point. Im sure Rio wasn't used to caring about me or anybody for that matter. I had to try to understand him and stop being such a cry baby about everything.

"Just do as he says, okay? He's still your boss" she finished. I nodded in acceptance as I took another shot.

"Aaaaand you're done for the night" Lily snatched the glass away from me and gave me the tab. I fake pouted at her but she ignored me on purpose. I laughed under my breath. I checked my phone again hoping his name would pop up suddenly, but nothing.

I got up to use the bathroom before I headed home. I flushed the toilet and stared at myself in the mirror, checking out my outfit.

The music was so loud I could see the mirror vibrating

The music was so loud I could see the mirror vibrating. I shook off the buzzed feeling I had and walked out. I said bye to Lily and headed to my car. I got in and started the engine. I was about to drive off when there was a sudden tap on my window. I quickly turned to see who it was.

"Get out of the car" Rio's raspy voice boomed in my ears.
