The sound of wet footsteps and the heavy fog made Y/n almost insane, he had been paranoid for the few hours since the swamp's creatures may decide to ambush the group, his eyes had been everywhere to check if he had lost the group or if they had lost the examiner

"Y/n, Kurapika, Leorio! Killua said we should move to the front!" Gon shouted as the three boys heard 

"You idiot! if I could reach the front I would already be there!" Leorio shouted to Gon as he panted

"Go ahead, we'll meet you guys there" Y/n reassured the two making Gon frown

Kurapika, Leorio and Y/n were matching each other's pace it became harder to tell where they were going because of the heavy fog, They reassured each other that as long as they don't lose sight of the people ahead of them they should be fine

But as the three were running they noticed the people in front of them looked like their heads was cut off all of sudden, this caused the three to stop on there tracks making Leorio panicked  first

"What the hell is that?" Y/n shouted as a man from behind them took a step forward but was caught at what looked like a trap a tortoise had put, the man was caught by the tortoise before it was too late 

The other applicants had ran at the opposite direction leaving the three boys confused, the three of them was at each others back and none of them moved

Just when things got worst Leorio tried to fight the tortoise using a branch he found, Leorio tried aiming for the mouth but was instead caught by the tortoise making him fly because he kept holding on to the branch

"Leorio!" Kurapika shouted to Leorio who was screaming in fear, he couldn't let go of the branch but the branch looked like it was gonna break soon because of the tortoise's strong jaw

"Kurapika once that thing's jaw have lowered try and aim for one of the eye" Y/n said as he brought out the dagger he's been keeping from his bag

The two counted down before they jumped to the big tortoise's head then aiming for the eye's, this caused the tortoise to scream in pain as it let go of the branch Leorio was holding, Leorio fell on his butt before Y/n yelling to the two to run away from the monster

"We lost the front runners" Kurpika stated as they kept running in a random direction

"Dammit what do we do now?" Leorio whined as they kept running 

As the three were sprinting to a random direction Y/n noticed Hisoka from a far, It seemed like he was about to be in a battle

"Wait guys, Look over there" Y/n stopped the two from their tracks as he pointed out Hisoka 

It looked like he was stopped by a group of guys who was holding spears and swords, and from the voiced they heard it sounded like they were threatening Hisoka because he was not hunter material, the situation Hisoka was in made him smirk he told them that if they wanted to play examiner he would want to be one since hunters require prey

The group of guys all charged at him but was stopped by Hisoka puling out a card and cutting all of their heads of by one try

"Well, how about you three?" Hisoka smirked as he looked at the direction of the three boys who saw the whole thing

"Care to play Examiner?" Hisoka added as he licked his lips at the three boys

"No way we can't fight this dude, not when his bloodlust is at this level!" Y/n thought to himself as he stared at Hisoka's aura, He knows the others can't see it but it's already a given that they can't fight Hisoka

As Hisoka walked closer to the three Y/n was thinking of a plan to avoid the worst scenario, Y/n noticed the two frozen at there feet and unable to move because of what they just saw
