As Gon was tracking down the scent of Leorio's target they finally reached the location, the four of them first seemed skeptical since it lead them to a cave

"Is she in there Gon?" Leorio asked Gon who nodded

"Yep, no doubt about it" Gon answered

"So, what's your plan" Kurapika asked Leorio who was getting ready to go in

"I'm going in, you three stay here" He said as he grabbed a wooden stick to use for defense

"Before you go" Y/n interrupted making Leorio look back

"If we won't hear from you within 30 minutes we'll go in there and find you" Y/n planned making Leorio look disatisfied

"No, if I don't make it back you're all going back to the starting line" Leorio grunted to the three making Gon and the two disagree

"We can't leave you behind, we formed an alliance remember?" Kurapika stated to Leorio

"Then this alliance is over" Leorio uttered as he walked back to the cave

"Are you sure about that?" Y/n questioned making Leorio and the two confused

"Even if you say no, we're still gonna wait" Y/n continued, this made Leorio confused and angry

"That doesn't even make sense, why would you do that?" Leorio asked angrily

"It's because we want to" Gon glared at Leorio who eventually gave up

"Fine whatever" He sighed as he threw his bag at Y/n

"Hold on to that for me" He waved to them as he entered the cave

As time went by the three boys began to worry, the three of them reassured each other that Leorio is okay and that the fight is taking awhile, although Leorio's 30 minutes is almost up the three boys patiently waited, it was soon disturbed by the sound they hear from the cave

"Y/n, Gon, Kurpika don't come in here!" Leorio shouted to the three making the Kurapika and Gon rush immediately

Y/n on the other hand was hesitant, firstly because it might be a trap to lure them and secondly if they go in the cave there is a chance that there will be no way out, Y/n was still frozen on his feet when the two had already gone into the cave this has caused Y/n to freak out and panic

"Shit shit shit what do I do?" Y/n panicked as he went closer to the cave to call out for them

"Guys! Are you still there?" Y/n shouted and waited for a response, he mentally cursed at himself for not rushing in the cave

"Y/n? are you okay?" Kurapika answered making Y/n sigh in relief

"Yes I'm okay, I'm sorry I didn't rush in there to help immediately, I-It was because I had a gut feeling that it's a trap and I should've warned you guys..." Y/n yelled out as his voiced trembled, he wanted to hurt himself for not warning them in advanced

"It's okay Y/n we're fine in here, but Leorio got bit by poisonous snakes and the antidote is protected by the snakes" Gon shouted back to Y/n who was relief and guilty at the same time

"Not only that but the exit to the tunnel has been blocked off by the snakes so we can't get out" Kurapika added

"Should I call for help? Should I leave them?...What the hell should I do?" Y/n thought to himself as he had a hard time trying to come up a plan to get them out of the cave

Y/n began searching around the area and he stumbled upon what looked like a smoke grenade, He inspected the item and saw a label reading sleeping gas, this made Y/n rush to the entrance on the cave

"Guys! Listen to me for a second!" Y/n shouted in the cave receiving a answer from them

"Gon how many minutes can you hold your breath?" Y/n yelled, it took a while for them to answer since they were confused

"Uhh...about 9 minutes" Gon answered back at Y/n

"Then this should work, is Ponzu in there?" Y/n asked again as he waited for a reply

"Yeah she's here" Kurapika responded making Y/n ready himself to go in the cave

"Listen to me carefully, I have a sleeping gas with me right now and it should knock out all of the snakes in the cave for at least 5 minutes and this includes Kurapika and Ponzu" Y/n explained making the two boys including Ponzu confused

"What I'm gonna do is help you get the antidote and at the same time Gon will hold his breath and carry Leorio, Kurapika and Ponzu out of the cave" Y/n yelled to them as he waited for a response, he then heard an okay from the two making Y/n set the sleeping gas ready

Y/n then started counting down before releasing the sleeping gas into the cave, Gon and Y/n waited for moment to let the gas knock out the snakes first then proceeding to the plan, Y/n held his breath then ran in the cave and spotted Gon, Gon pointed out where the antidote was before picking up the three, Y/n finally found the antidote and decided to help Gon carry the three, He picked up Kurapika and puts him on his shoulder as him and Gon ran out of the cave

As both boys have reached the outside of the cave Gon put down Ponzu next to a tree then getting her number badge while Y/n was injecting the antidote into Leorio, after that messy situation happened Y/n apologized to Gon for not being able to warn them about the traps in advanced

"It's okay Y/n, I should actually be glad that you hesitated to go in because if you didn't we'd all be trapped in there" Gon assured Y/n who finally calmed down, he was really glad to have a friend like Gon

"Thanks Gon, Uhh...can I help you with that?" Y/n pointed out Leorio and Kurapika who he was carrying while walking

"Sure you can carry Kurapika" Gon stated as Y/n looked at him confused

"Oh I can carry Leorio since he's heavier and you can carry Kurapika" Y/n suggested as Gon shaked his head

"No you carry Kurapika, Leorio is very light don't worry" Gon insisted as he gave me an unconscious Kurapika

"He really wants me to carry Kurapika" Y/n thought to himself as he proceeded to carry Kurapika in a bridal style to the starting line

The situation where Y/n had to carry Kurapika to the starting line really made Gon happy, I guess in other words Gon really ships the two, But before bringing them to the starting line the two boys placed Leorio and Kurapika on the ground to wait for them to wake up and for Y/n and Gon to rest for a bit

After a few minutes Y/n noticed Kurapika starting to wake up and this made Y/n smile at Kurapika because he looked cute even when all he's doing is just waking up, what a simp

"How was your sleep Kurapika?" Y/n asked the boy who looked surprised at Y/n, Kurapika looked around to see Leorio sleeping and Gon sleeping on Y/n's shoulder making him chuckle at the sight

"What happened?" Kurapika asked as he rubbed his eyes

"Well we got Leorio's number badge and managed to get the antidote and just injected it to Leorio" Y/n responded to Kurapika who stood up to stretch

"We should get going to the starting line" Kurapika stated making Y/n tell Kurapika to relax

"We have 8 hours left, we should let these two sleep for the moment" Y/n assured Kurapika making him sit down next to Leorio who was still sleeping

The two boys didn't bother speaking up since they just admired each others company and that was enough for the both of them, a few minutes later it was Leorio who waked up then Gon, Everyone got up to get ready and walked to the starting line

When the four got to the starting line they were greeted by Killua and the remaining applicants, The host of the ship counted down the applicants who had their number badge and finally lead them to the airship that will lead to the final phase of the exam
