The five who were tasked to seek out items from the auction finally had finished and are currently back in the mansion to show the items they got

Each of them got an item they were specifically asked for and to this the client was satisfied and hired them

"My name is Dalzollene the head bodyguard, I look forward to working with each one of you" He introduced as he lead them to a map to show them the details of their mission

"Your mission is to safely escort the boss to a Yorknew City hotel room" Dalzollene started as he began telling them the locations of where to drop off the boss and where to wait when the auction starts

"The five of you will be assigned to provide the outer ring of security, Any questions?" Dalzollene added as he asked the four if there were any confusion on the details on the mission

Kurapika then began asking questions on to who might target the boss, Dalzollene then explained that the boss is a VIP in the underworld so it's normal for people to hold a grudge on them, Kurapika then rephrased his questions to who the person might be incase they attack the boss and what their motives are, It's almost as if Kurapika is hinting at the Phantom troupe, this made Y/n think about it and he's right there is a high chance the Phantom troupe might attack and to that they need to get ready 

"Kurapika right? You're the one not understanding the situation right" Dalzollene grunted as he tried to compose himself

"Our job is to protect the boss no matter who, when, where or how they attack and that's all you need to know got it?" He explained in an irritating tone, he hates it when employees try to make a profile for themselves or when they act like they know it all

"It's time to meet the boss"  Dalzollene said as he changed his demeanor, he lead them through a hallway to the room of the boss but on the way there what seemed to be a peculiar statue of a man who looked like he was struggling

The five looked at the statue and it looked almost real, Y/n thought about this and probably thought it's a wax figure, it was just too detailed, he looked at it closely and he was right, it was probably just to scare some employees and to put a reputation on how dangerous they were

Apparently the "person" disobeyed one of Dalzollene's orders and it almost put everyone including the boss in danger, this made the four gasp in shock meanwhile Y/n didn't bother acknowledging it, They then continued down the hallway and Y/n noticed Kurapika very tense after seeing the statue

"It's just a wax figure, a very detailed one" Y/n whispered to Kurapika who then looked at him like he didn't believe what Y/n just said to him, Y/n nodded and winked to Kurapika making him blush and ended up believing him 

They ended up reaching the room of where they will be meeting the boss, this made the five quite anxious since they are dealing with the mafia and that the boss must be someone very cold and dangerous, Dalzollene then opened the door carefully as he entered first then the five, it was to their shock that the boss who they thought was a very dangerous person happened to be 

A young girl?

"This is the boss, Miss Neon" Dalzollene pointed out the young girl with blue hair, this made everyone very confused and shocked

"New hires! It's a pleasure to meet you!" Neon exclaimed to the five who were still in a daze

The five new bodyguards of Neon Nostrade then began their tasks that were given to them, they escorted the boss to the airport and then onto the cars that will lead them to the boss's hotel at Yorknew City 

"I heard she's a fortune teller and that through her father's connection she's considered a VIP in the underworld" Basho stated to the two boys who were in the car that was gonna lead to the boss's hotel 

"You have it backwards" Kurapika corrected Basho who seemed confused at first

"I'd say that the father has used his daughter to increase his standing and move up in the underworld" Kurapika added as Basho listened carefully

"That's funny since the father might go insane of the thought losing his daughter" Y/n joined in making the two agree with him

"He's afraid his enemies might retaliate by targeting his daughter" Y/n added as the two kept their heads on the road, Y/n thought that information like this shouldn't surprise you, I mean you are working in the underworld at least expect the unexpected

"Good work, I now have your next assignment" Dalzollene announced as everyone finally gathered up in a meeting room

"You must win the three items on this list at the underground auction" Dalzollene continued as the rest of the employees listened, he also explained that money shouldn't be a problem when it comes to the auction

Dalzollene then proceeded to show the items through a projector, one of the items that were shown on the projector made Kurapika tense and so did Y/n, It was the eyeballs of a Kurta and it was emphasized by Dalzollene that the Kurta eyeballs are very important to the boss and that they should win it no matter what

Y/n looked over at Kurapika who looked like who was about to go insane and to this made Y/n sigh, no matter how many times he reminds him, Kurapika really can't control his emotions when his clan gets mentioned, It was understanding to Y/n cause who wouldn't go insane over the fact that your whole clan got murdered and the fact that you are the only one to survive the massacre, Y/n thought about Kurapika's survivor guilt and that he needs someone at his side to constantly tell him that he is not alone 

Y/n put his hands on Kurapika's shoulder to get him to snap back to reality, he noticed Kurapika finally calming down which made Y/n at ease, Kurapika smiled bitterly to Y/n as a sign to him that he calmed down and that he is fine, what the two boys don't know is that this event will give them a one hell of a emotional roller coaster
