"Hey" I awkwardly said

"I guess I deserve that, look I'm sorry. I was embarrassed and still adjusting to being 'single', I just needed time" I said.

"Wait a minute, can you just try to understand that I just got out of a relationship? I don't know what it is that you're talking about but I told you we are just friends and it will never happen" I crossed my arms
