Me and one of my writing children were talking about me hurting my favs and your guys favs so I said I would hurt hers so here I am :)

This is hanahaki btw, the flower is green gardenia, which means forbidden love with green for Nohebi

Shibayama has had the biggest crush on Kuguri sense forever, but is too afraid of acting on it with how much their teams are at arms with each other. He ends up developing hanahaki as a result, and is slowly dying. He's scared, but doesn't know what to do. At a match between Nekoma and Nohebi, tensions run high which only makes it worse for Shiba, who knows things will never work out and worsens how he feels. He leaves and doesn't come back, so Kuguri sense he's also benched says he's going to the bathroom, but in reality, he's gonna look for Shiba. His scream cuts through the gym minutes later. He had noticed a trail of green petals and follows them, not nothing the blood until he finds Shibayama collapsed, a single green blood stain flower in his hand. He's still alive, but barely.
