"Wake up, Momma!" Jacob said, jumping on top of me.

I let out a small groan, peaking my eyes out at the little boy that was on my lap, "Noo, let's sleep more." I pulled him down, closing my eyes again.

"No, we have to go play." He wiggled against my arms, letting out a giggle. I tightened them, soon letting go so we could get up.

"Where's your dad?" I sat up and looked at Jacob. He just shrugged, I smiled and ruffled his hair. "Well, lets go find him then."

We made our way out of the watchtower and passed multiple people, all smiling and giving a small wave while walking by. We walked to the front of the prison and saw Daryl handing out food to the Woodbury residents. I walked up to Daryl as a kid was talking,

"Mr. Dixon, I just wanted to thank you for bringing that deer back yesterday." Patrick said, "It was a real treat, sir." He finished.

Patrick looked over at me, which made Daryl look over. "Hello, Mrs. Dixon."

I went to correct him, but Daryl cut me off. "Patrick, you want to take over?" The kid nodded and started handing out food.

"Hi, Daddy!" Jacob piped up, his bright blues looking up at his father.

"Hi, little man. What have you and your mom been doing?" Daryl picked Jacob up, setting him on his hip.

"I was playing with the piggies, with Carl, but then Uncle Rick told me to go find Momma who was sleeping, I woke her up and we came to find you. Do you want to play with us?" Jacob looked at Daryl.

"I would love to play for a little bit, but then your mom and I have to go for a run." Daryl set Jacob down, who then grabbed my hand.

"Can I go?" He looked up at us. I looked over at Daryl, letting him decide.

"Not this time, buddy. Let's go play."

For a few hours, we played with cars and chalk. Jacob started to get tired, so I picked him up and went into the prison. By the time I lay him down on the cot, he was out. I walked out, grabbing my bag.

Daryl was waiting for me on his bike. He smiled when he saw me. "Hey, Mrs. Dixon." He teased.

"Hi Mr. Dixon, are you ready?" I laughed, getting on the back of his bike.

"Yeah, is Jacob down for a nap?" He asked. I hummed in reply, my hands around his waist.

Daryl and I stopped at the small convenience store. We didn't find much, so we moved to a larger store. It didn't take long to find what we needed. By the time we were done, we realized that it was too late to go back to the prison. So we stayed at the store for the night.

"Daryl?" I turned my body to look at him.

"Rose?" He questioned.

"I'm glad we found you."

He placed his hand on my cheek and smiled, "Get some sleep, Rose."

On our way back, we took the long way enjoying each others company. We made it to the gates and rode up parking. Something felt off, then we heard it.

"Walkers in D!" Glenn shouted.

"What about C?" Rick yelled.

"Clear. We locked the gates to the tombs. Hershel's on guard." Sasha said.

"It ain't a breach," I yelled. I looked over at Daryl, "Go get Jacob! We've got this!" Daryl turned, running into the cell block, while the rest of us ran into cell block D.

As we were in the cell, we were killing walkers left and right. Rick was helping people out of the cellblock while I was separating the people who were bit.

It took us twenty minutes to get everything safe. I walked out of the cellblock, with Rick.

"Hey, you might want to stay back." Rick said, to Carl. Of course, the kid didn't listen.

I saw Daryl walk up the hill with Jacob next to him, as he got closer, I put my hand up, not wanting him to get closer with our kid.

We thought everything was going to be ok. But we were wrong.

I shot awake when I heard yelling outside of the train car. I heard the man that forced me into the car. Glenn, Maggie, and a few others from the prison were here. There were others that I didn't know but that Maggie and Glenn did. I heard the man talking as I stood.

"Ringleader, archer, samurai, in that order." He yelled.

"My son!" The ringleader said.

"Go, kid!" The first man shouted.

Everyone around me stood as the door was pushed open. Three people came in then one boy made his way in after the rest. Since there was no light in the train car, it was hard to tell who these people were.

Glenn stepped forward, "Rick?" This statement made Maggie walk up to him.

Rick stepped forward, "You're here." He looked around at all of us.

Rick saw the girl that helped attack the prison, Tara. Maggie stepped in front of her, "They're our friends. They helped save us."

"Yeah. Now they're friends of ours." Daryl stepped forward and said.

This made my heart stop there he was. But where was Jacob? I stepped forward and murmured, "Daryl?"

"Rose?" He looked stunned at first but quickly embraced my small frame into his larger one.

I gripped onto him, thinking that if I let him go, he would just disappear.

"Where's Jacob?" I questioned, looking for my son.

"I couldn't find him, R. He got on the bus, with the other kids. I looked for you before getting him off the bus." He looked down at me.

"We'll find him." I finally realized there were tears on my cheeks.

Daryl pulled back, wiping my tears with his thumbs. "We'll find him."

"No." Rick said.

He pulled us out of our trance. We looked at Rick, seeing what he was about to say.

"They're gonna feel pretty stupid when they find out."

"Find out what?" Abraham asked.

"They're screwing with the wrong people," Rick said, looking out of a crack on the side of the train car.
