A/N - Hii, so I have decided I will try, and wrap this book up in the next few chapters. I have started writing a new book that will (hopefully) be published soon. So keep an eye out for that. I hope you like this.

'We all stood in that very room where we were last night. This time it was saying goodbye to a friend that we trusted the most.' I wrote in my journal.

It was our turn to say goodbye. I took Jacob's hand and stood next to him.

"Keep him safe. He's our future." Bob said.

"I will. You rest easy now." I said, placing a hand on his good shoulder. I looked down at Jacob with a sad smile. "Say bye to Bob."

The little boy looked at the man, "Bye Bob, I'm sorry the monsters got to you."

"It's ok little man. Now you protect your mom and dad." Bob said.

I took this as our cue to leave. I gently grabbed Jacobs' hand, leading him out of the church.

"I'm hungry," Jacob said.

I handed him a granola bar without saying anything. We sat near the bus as we waited to see what would happen. Abraham wanted to go to D.C. still, which meant Rosita, Tara, and Eugene had to go. A few others like Maggie and Glenn decided to go as well. We all said bye to them, hoping they would find something in D.C.

'Days had passed, and Daryl was back. I woke up that morning to him kicking my boot. There were no words said between us, just a rushed hug. He hugged Jacob like it was the last time he was going to see him.

Daryl caught everyone up on what happened. Beth was in some hospital, and they weren't letting her leave. Carol was there as well, but now we have someone new. Noah.' I closed my journal. Tyreese and Daryl were talking.

"It was- it was good you weren't here for it."

"She hanging in there?"

The men looked over at Sasha, who was breaking a bench in half.

"No," I said, standing next to the men.

"Run, get to the back room. I ripped out some floorboards." Gabriel said.

We ran as the walkers made their way into the church, pushed Jacob in front of me, so he made it in the room first. Michonne held off as many as she could, and she was right behind us. As she entered the room, I made sure Carl, Judith, and Jacob got out the first, then I went. Gabriel held the door closed. We all stood in front of the church as a firetruck stopped the walkers from getting out. We all reunited with half the group.

"You're back," I said.

"Eugene lied. He can't stop it." Glenn said.

"Where is everybody?" Maggie asked.

"Beth's alive. She's in a hospital in Atlanta. Some people have her, but the others went to get her back." Michonne said.

"Do we know which one?"

"Grady Memorial," I said.

"Oh, my God." Maggie laughs.

Everything seemed to go in slow motion. Beth came out and ran to her sister. They reunited as the others started to come out. Finally, Daryl came out, holding a body. It was Carol. she was limp in his arms.

Michonne let out a strangled sob and fell to the ground. Daryl carried her lifeless body over, and no one said anything.

Days seemed to fly past no one talked. We buried Carol and made out way to Richmond, the place where Noah lived.
