Aizawa's POV:

Even if I had expected this, hearing it directly from Todoroki's mouth was -how do I put it?- hard to process.

Since I hadn't gotten much sleep the night before, I had spent some time trying to figure out what I could potentially do, if I did get him to open up to me and confirm it.

Third Person POV:

Aizawa was walking along the hallway, an arm wrapped protectively around the shaking student.

He exited the school, the dual-haired student following him.

"C'mon, I'll take you to my place for the time being, is that okay with you, Shoto?", he asked softly, wanting the student's confirmation to the fact that he didn't have any objections to the idea before taking him to his flat.

Relief washed over him as the boy nodded shakily, an air of hesitance to it though.

The ravenette opened the car door for Shoto, and entered himself, sitting down in the driver's seat while Shoto awkwardly sat in the passenger's seat, looking around nervously.

"Shoto, you're okay."

Most of the car ride was quiet, both of the males unsure what to say.
Shoto had got lost in thought after a few minutes, staring into nothingness and had to get snapped out of his thoughts by Aizawa, who tentatively rested his hand on his shoulder, informing him that they'd reached their destination.

They entered a building, Shoto's head hung, not wanting his red, puffy eyes to be seen by any more people than was necessary.

Aizawa led him over towards an elevator, stepped inside and motioned for him to follow.
He pressed the number three on the silver-grey-ish number plate, shooting a quick glance over to his extremely reserved student with concern.

The two reached the third floor. It had two hallways, one to the left, one to the right, both going around the corner. The ravenette pulled out his keys as he made his way over to the oak-wood door with the number 63 engraved in it.

He made sure to send Shoto another smile of reassurance as he uncertainly followed suit.

After taking off their shoes at the doormat, the teacher handed the heterochromatic boy a pair of slippers and picked up his own pair from the second doormat they had in the flat.

Surprisingly, the slippers fitted Shoto's feet.

The Erasure hero guided him over to the grey sofa that stood against the wall in what Shoto presumed was the living room, and sat down on a squished brown arm chair.

"Shoto, would you mind showing me your injuries so that I can at least see them, and if you're okay with it, perhaps let me tend to them?", Aizawa asked softly.

Registering what the ravenette had said, Shoto slowly nodded.
Due to his siblings not having been at home the previous day, he had to bandage the injuries up himself, and didn't do a very good job at that either.

Nodding, Aizawa stood up and sat down next to the boy instead, but giving him enough space.

Reluctantly, Shoto started to unbutton his shirt, then sliding it off his shoulders, hissing slightly when it the fabric came in contact with some of the gashes he had forgotten to cover up.

Then, he made to unwrap the numerous bandages covering his torso and head.

Aizawa only barely suppressed his gasp.
This was what the Number One Hero was doing to his son?

Trying to keep his anger at bay, Aizawa's onyx eyes met Shoto's, and noticed the tears that the multi-coloured teen was trying not to let spill.

"Hey, it's okay, kid...", the teacher gently placed a hand on the once again shaking boy's arm, tactfully avoiding any injuries, "Let's get those cleaned up, yeah?"

Receiving another nod, Aizawa quickly left for the bathroom, in which he and his spouse kept things like bandages in. He grabbed the box with bandages, some rags and headed back to the living room and placed the things down, before heading into the kitchen and filling a bowl with water and getting a fairly big cool pack out of the freezer, which he wrapped up in a paper towel.

He hurried back to where the quivering shell of his stoic student sat.

"C'mon kid, yeah? This might sting a little."

A/N: I'm so sorry for how long this took me!! Writer's block has been quite a problem for me again, and I've been fairly busy with school again. I've also been feeling a little demotivated lately, and there's still a lot going on in my life that's been stressing me.
Once again, I'm sorry for how long this took me.
