Chapter 45: Envelopes

"Victoria, Victoria. Please listen." Justin said catching up with her.

Victoria's eyes were now dry but her eyes were still red and puffy. Just the sight of Justin made her feel like crying again.

She knew that she could never have Justin.

"I didn't mean for things to end like this but-and I know that you'd hate to hear this and I don't want to hurt you, but I really do still love her."

Victoria felt her heart drop.

"I just can't lead you on knowing I still have feelings for her. I'm sorry but this hurts me too." Justin said. He wasn't really an expert when it came to breaking the news but he did it the softest and gentlest way he could.

"You can't do this, Justin.." Victoria pleaded.

"I'm so very Sorry, Victoria. And besides, things weren't really working out, either. We're two very different people. Again, I'm so very sorry. I hope you can forgive me." Justin said.

Victoria was finding that kind of hard to believe because again, him and Iman were also two different people.

He didnt like this feeling he had in the pit of his stomach. He knew women are very emotional when it came to things like this. He didn't like knowing the fact that he lead Victoria on for this long.

Victoria didn't need to say anything else. She just made her way out the palace.

"Justinian. Prince Justin? No. I dont think he'd do something like that." Natalia said as she comforted her sister.

"I haven't even told Mum and Father. But yes, he did."

Natalia couldn't believe this. She was sure Justin and Victoria were perfect just last week. What had happened?

But then again she knew something like this would happen. She even warned Victoria.

She told Victoria not too long ago that you can figure a man's feelings for you just by the way he glances at you.

Natalia knew Justin didn't love her sister. Why, they had dinner with the royal family a couple times and Justin always looked uninterested.

But one woman she sure as hell knew Justin loved was the same girl he took to the gathering the Queen had held. The way he held her, talked to her, even looked at her from top to bottom said a lot to the guests.

She along with the other guests knew what the Prince was doing. He was showing everyone that The woman was his and he was attached to her. He wanted to show them that he was now in love.

No, he didn't love Victoria or anyone else for that matter.

"I don't understand, Natalia. I just can't believe he'd lead me on like this." Victoria cried.

Natalia was confused as well. If Justin didn't like Victoria, why would he date her?

"I don't either.." She said.

"Oh, I love him so much.." Victoria sobbed.

"I always have, sister." Victoria sniffed again.

Natalia frowned at her sister. She felt so terrible for her. Yes, she knew her sister was a cold person, but she was actually very nice and sweet, except when it comes to Justin or anyone she loved for that matter.

Victoria didn't like it when other things got in the way.

"I'm very sorry this happened to you." Natalia said. She hated seeing her only sister so heartbroken and miserable.
