|-some days later-|

Iman

I sat up on the bed quietly not to wake up Justin.

I just got a text from Daniel saying that he just landed and got off the plane and is now on his way to his hotel.

Daniel is my older brother that was studying in London for law school. He finished some time ago and went back to the U.S.

He called me last night and said he was flying out to see me. I was really happy because I haven't seen my "beloved" brother in so long and I freaking miss him.

He was such a big pain though...

And for some reason he was acting all weird. Like weirder than usual. He kept asking if I was okay and stuff.

He texted me the address of the hotel and His room number.

I quietly squealed.

I made an effort to get out the bed. "Baby girl, where you going?" Justin asked slowly opening his eyes.

"You know, Just what normal people do when they wake up." I said getting up. Justin softly chuckled.

I was kind of relieved because I didn't fall this time and I didn't feel much pain when i started walking.

"Oh and remember I was talking about Daniel yesterday?" I asked him. "Yes."

"Good thing is he just landed. I'm going to go see him."

"Oh, can I come with you?" He asked. "I want to meet him."

I paused. "You sure?"

"Of course. Why not? You've met my family."

He's got a point..

"Alright then."

"So what is your brother like?" Justin asked looking at the address on my phone at a red light.

Shit.

"Well he's really tall...like 6'2 or 6'3. He's very funny and it's like he can read your mind. He's awkward and I should say, smart. And so annoying ugh. Did I mention manipulating? But I love him."

Justin laughed. "Him and Jaxon could be best friends."

No doubt about that..

"And besides, Jaxon could get out the house more. I'm worried about him." Justin said. "He's such a blabbermouth."

I covered my mouth to stop from laughing.

I was trying to be loyal to Jaxon by not laughing at him.

"We're here." He said.

"Oooh fancy." I said looking at the tall glass building. That's the thing with my brother. Go big or go home.

We walked in hand and hand into the hotel and we saw the receptionist.

He was around his late twenties. He had black hair and pretty grey eyes and wore a uniform.

He smiled as he saw us. Well, me.

"May I help you, mademoiselle?" He asked.

"We're together." Justin said cutting in. I guess he was offended because the man didn't seem to notice him coming in with me.

"My apologies, sir."

I was about to open my mouth a speak but Justin beat me to it.

"We're here to see Daniel Akan." He said.
