ROSE P.O.V.

I gasped, as soon as I realized what happened, then I turned around to look at the gathered crowd, they were as surprised as I was.

"What's going on?" asked an authoritative voice through the muttering voices, drawing my attention in its direction. Adrien rushed forward and stopped before me. He looked aghast as he assessed the scene.

"What happened here?" he asked again, I opened my mouth but no words came out, I could still feel the green power radiating from my body. It looked like green fog, all around me, but it didn't make me feel weak or miserable, it made me feel more powerful.

"That girl, she did something!" a bystander pointed at me with an accusing finger. "She hurled the other girl into the ceiling, she did something, I tell you!"

Adrien quickly rushed over to Shyla, he felt her pulse and then stood. "She is only unconscious," he announced, there was no sign of relief in his voice.

"You two," he called Violet and Renee who had just arrived. "Carry her to the hospital, make sure she is alright when she wakes up."

"Try making them forget what happened," this time, Adrien pointed towards Grace and Zain, they gave a slight nod. But, how are they going to make them forget?

He then turned to me, I was so confused, I couldn't even defend myself because I know I did it.

"Rose, you're coming with me." Adrien took my hand and took me outside the restaurant. Too shocked to protest, I allowed myself to be ushered away. Shaking my head, I blinked several times. What had just happened? Everything moved so fast that I could hardly make any sense of it.

Adrien looked in my direction, with an apologetic look, "You used magic."

His words rang like bells in my ears, "Magic...how?" I stuttered, how was it possible that I had done magic? I chewed my lower lip, trying to understand it. One minute Shyla was standing near the restroom door, the next she was slammed into the ceiling.

"I should have told you the truth before your birthday! This wouldn't have happened, it's all my fault," Adrien admitted, leaving me confused.

"What Adrien? Tell me! I cannot understand anything..." I pleaded, my eyelids already becoming wet.

He took my hand in between both his hands, I looked at him. "I can show you." I gave a slight nod.

He closed his eyes and said, "Wake the past, let it become the memory of her own."
