Chapter 30.

ROSE P.O.V

Today, I'm back to University after a week- because of my sudden weakness doctor recommended taking rest for a week. I hated being inside the dorm all time. However Adrien, Grace, Violet, or Renee would always be there for me whenever I was bored, they never left my side. How did I end up making such good friends in a foreign city? In India I barely made friends but I always had Sahara, she's my everything. 

"And, look who's back!" Renee exclaimed in excitement, I smiled at her and went to sit next to Grace. Adrien hasn't arrived yet so maybe he's busy with his business. Once I was seated I removed my book from my bag and was about to make some notes for the previous lectures but my eyes landed on the wooden door and Lorenzo entered the class. For a moment it seemed like everything just stopped, just the way it happens in Bollywood films. The wind was slow as it brushed my skin, he looked at me with a serious face. I couldn't understand what was wrong but something was going on in his mind. His eyes locked my gaze and all I could do was admire him after a long time.

"At least close your mouth," Grace whispered in my ear while tapping her fingers on my chin. I blushed and smacked myself internally for not controlling my actions. 

"I...I was just looking for Adrien." I shrugged looking down at my hands, I could see Lorenzo getting seated at his usual place at the back, alone.

Throughout our lectures, I would glance at Lorenzo, but he didn't look at me once. I touched my locket that was hanging on my neck, was he with me just for a locket? 

"Are you listening to me, Rose?" Grace tapped my right arm as she noticed I was drowned in my world of thoughts.

"Yeah, I'm. Tell me." I tried recalling what she was telling, maybe it was something about Zayn.

"So, he said, he's taking me to shop today and after that dinner." Grace stated happily, I gave her a slight smile knowing that normal things like that will never happen in my life, I sighed.

"Oh, that sounds great. You both enjoy it." I packed my things and was keeping them inside my bag when my phone vibrated inside my pocket with a buzz-buzz, I looked at the screen and saw Adrien's name on it, a small smile crept over my lips as I answered the call, "Hello, why didn't you come to the university today?"

"I had some business to finish. What about dinner tonight?" he sounded a bit tired.

"sure, sure." I sang and put back the phone inside my pocket.

"So, dinner date tonight?" Renee playfully smirked at me.

"Not so lucky, like Grace." I tried to push the attention on Grace and my plan succeeded when Renee replied, "Single us." with a pout.

Renee, Violet, and I burst into laughter as Grace blushed and burrowed her head inside her bag, acting to find something. But I know it was just an excuse.

We all separated our ways in different directions, Violet and Renee went to the left, Grace went straight and I went to the right which was my way back to the dorm. The sun was about to set, it's orange color covering the sky, I looked up and smiled. I love admiring the sunset, especially at a beach. 

In India I would often go to the beach and sit near the bank for a while, missing my mother. I used to watch mothers caring for their children, loving them, feeding them, playing with them, it made me feel so relaxed. I miss those times.
