Unexpectedly Best Mistake (luke)

Storyline:Luke saved a kid from being hit by a van only to found out it was his own child resulting from a one night stand he had years before. What happened next is for you to find out ;)

Luke is sipping on his coffee outside the hospital as he watch the cars pass by.He's trying to brush off the negativity on his mind about his dad at the hospital. He wait outside not wanting to see his dad suffer from sickness in hospital bed--he can't take it. There's a lot of things going on in his head right now. Misery is taking over him but he's trying to fight it. He set his attention on the road instead to get over with his thoughts. He doesn't have a clue that he will be blown up with the life-changing events that's gonna happen next. The cars stop slowly in symmetrical motion as the stoplight gives a red light and people crosses the streets. Then, after a minute the cars rush as green light signals. A young boy is running to the pedestrian lane while cars races on the road. His Mom is chasing after him but she's carrying a heavy bag making it hard for her to catch up with her kid. The kid keep running and one car luckily avoided the kid. Luke saw everything and he suddenly feels responsible for saving the kid, he wants to help. A van is racing too fast and the kid is on the way.
"Shit!" Luke shouted as he run for the kid making his coffee spilled on his red flannel."Stooop! There's a kid out there!" He screamed at the top of his lungs.
The driver of the van doesn't hear him and so, Luke doesn't have a choice but risk his life. The kid stand there frozen not knowing what to do and his mom is already crying as she run.
Luke made it before the van could even hit the kid. He grab the kid from behind and shove him away from way the van is heading through. The van automatically stops when the driver saw Luke but not exactly on time. It still hit Luke but not too much. Luke fall to the ground and gain some wounds.

Luke woke up in a hospital bed with the kid and his Mom on his side. He felt pain in some parts of his body making it hard for him to sit up. The kid only had some small wounds in his knee as Luke shove him earlier. They're both staring at Luke. The girl looks like she's on her early twenties. Seeing her close up makes Luke say to himself "Damn, she's beautiful. How lucky her husband is." And the kid who looks like he's four years old is gazing at Luke mysteriously.
"Thank you so much for saving my son." The girl stated playing with her hands.
"It's nothing, I'm totally fine." Luke replied with a smile.
"My name is Ella and here's my kid, Charlie.Tell me if there's something I could do to pay you back. Anything."
"Miss Ella anyone would do what I did earlier. It just turn out there's no person on the street.I'm the one who's in there."
"You saved my son." Ella argued.
Suddenly a nurse interrupts and says "If you may excuse us a minute, Miss Ella you need to sign some papers on the desk."
Ella agreed and went out with the nurse leaving Luke and Charlie alone on the room. Charlie is gazing on Luke wide eyes opened. His hair got the same color as Luke's hair and same lips. Luke noticed him and laughs a little.
"Hi there little kid, Are you okay?" Luke asked him cheerfully.
Charlie just nodded as his mother warned him earlier to not utter a word to Luke about everything.
They just stare at one another and Luke break the silence.
"You can sit here beside me if you want." Luke offered Charlie.
Charlie nudged the offer but Luke taps on the other side of the bed for him to sit. He can't resist Luke's offer. He long for this moment to happen. How long he want to be wrapped on his dad arms and like a dream, it's happening now. Memories of her Mom telling him about his dad when he was younger flashes on his mind.

"But Mom why can I only see dad on this picture? Why can't I meet him?" Charlie wondered as he held out the only picture he have of his dad that his mom gave him.

"Don't be sad baby, Mom's here. You can just hug me." Ella comforted Charlie as she embrace him into a tight hug.

"I want daddy." Charlie pleaded.

"You'll meet him someday, I promise." Ella swore.

"Why can't it be now? Doesn't he love me?" Tears rushing down slowly in his eyes.
