5SOS Preferences

After break up

LUKE:

Today is your birthday party. You invited your close friends and your ex-boyfriend, Luke. Though you and him just broke up days ago, you're expecting him to come cause you're hoping with that small chance that he might still feel the same and wants to see you --because he texted you earlier promising he'll see you.
Your friends came and your eyes scan through the crowd to find him. You saw his friends and notice that Luke's not with them. But you didn't lose hope, he might be just roaming around or late.
The night almost passed by and you still haven't seen him. Everyone except his friends leave your house already. All of you gathered on the sala.
"Happy birthday y/n!!" Ashton greeted you with a wide smile on his face.
"You look so beautiful tonight y/n." Michael praised you.
You thanked them and smiled.
"By the way here's our present!!" Calum said as he hand you four presents.
It's only the three of them and you're wondering why he gave you four. Then it finally sinks to you that the other one is from Luke which means he's not going since he just sent you his gift.
You're cheerful face turned into emotionless expression. They notice it and figure out there's something wrong.
"He's not going isn't he?" You asked them looking at nothingness.
"Y/n...."Michael uttered.
Ashton rubbed circles at your back trying to comfort you.
They can't answer back. This only means he's really not going.
"Are you okay?" Calum asked.
"Don't mind me. It's just that-" you stopped talking cause it's hard to continue when you're falling apart in front of everyone.
A tear fall down from your eyes.
"I knew it. I shouldn't have just let my mind think  for a second that he wants to see me cause he's not." You managed to burst out what you felt inside.
Then suddenly you heard a soft voice you haven't heard for a long time.

"Y/n, Sorry I'm late."

You turned around to see that Luke is standing behind you with bouquet of red roses in his hands.

ASHTON:

You're staring at your reflection on the mirror, scattered mascara below your eyes and a face without emotion. You spent the nights partying with your friends which is the main reason you lose him. Your chest felt so heavy. You lose everything. One month has passed and you doesn't seem to get over it.You know you're the reason why he left. You admit it. Everything he wrote on the note he left was true.

"y/n, I know that you still love me and I also still do. But lately this relationship doesn't work anymore. It seems like I'm the only one exerting an effort to make this work. I'm sorry. I think we need some space. I'll give you sometime to find yourself."

You crumpled the paper as you take a look on your phone a picture of Ashton with another girl. He said he'll just give you some space but it turns out that he found somebody new.

"Wait.....we're not yet over Ash. We haven't bid our farewell yet. You need to know." You said to yourself. You hastily called him over the phone and he answered it immediately.

"I'll meet you at the park nearby your apartment. Tonight. 6 pm. We need to talk."

"Y/n, ho-" you ended the call before he could even talk.

MICHAEL:

On your way home everyday you always ride the train to get home. That's where you met Michael because he also take the train  everyday to get home. Your relationship with him did went well, but it was destroyed with one big fight you had with him a few days before.
The train finally arrives and a lot of people were so eager to get in first. You're in the middle of the crowd so you let yourself be carried inside. You end up standing on the corner. That's where you saw Michael standing in front of you. He was also as shock as you when he saw you. None of you attempt to start a conversation. Both of you keep avoiding each other's gaze.
The train stops to the next station and a lot of people get in which ends up Michael to press himself to you though he doesn't really want to because of awkwardness. People keeps pushing everyone inside which cause him to lose his balance so he places his hand on the corner, beside you. You can't take it anymore. You admit to yourself that you miss this guy. You miss his presence next to you. Right now, he's staring at you,  he's scanning your face like he's saying 'please talk to me'.

Out of nowhere, you hugged him tightly. You've been longing for his touch. You bury your head to his chest and he let you.
"I miss you, Michael." You stated.
With that, he wrapped one of his arms around you.
"I want you back. I'm willing to risk everything, just come back to my life, y/n." He whispered on your ear.
"Stay still." You replied.

You stay like that for minutes. He was also longing for you. He's aware that both of you need to get off the train cause the station you need to get to already passed but he didn't bother cause he doesn't want to ruin the moment the both of you reconcile.

CALUM:

You're going to have lunch alone at your favorite restaurant where you and Calum ended up your relationship.The waiter gave you right away the menu book when you found an available seat. As you scan the menu, you heard a familiar voice. He's talking to the waiter. You looked up to see that it was Calum on the table in front of you. You hide your face with the menu book cause you don't want him to see you. Now, you look like a fool in there and the waiter notices you.

"Is there some problem miss?" The waiter asked.

"Um, no everything's fine." You replied still hiding your face with the menu.

"Okay, sorry for the intrusion ma'am"

When you finally tried to look at him again, both of your eyes met for a few seconds but he looked at the other way pretending that he doesn't saw you even when you tried to smile at him.

Moments later, a girl seats beside Calum and kissed him on the cheek.
